the only fish i eat is the aggravating red eye good way to thin them out plus they are really good to eat.

great fish to eat roll them in sweet cornbread mix and fry. i try to keep about 8 to a dozen each trip if they are big enough. thay are also good for padding your stats if you are fishing with buddies and you are separated on the river, when they ask how many bass you caught just don't say the rock part. they can be annoying at times i catch a few that put up a little fight most just come in skipping across the top of the water like water skiing

the last time i was down to the river i caught a few on senkos, moving them slow in deeper water, also had 4" gulps and a dozen live minnows

don't know how many bass i caught most of them was smallmouth, it was lots. i'm retired so i fished 5 or 6 days and nights a week. i would fish early till about 12 noon go home 10 miles eat rest go back about 1pm fish till about 5pm go home rest go back 10pm fish till 1am do the same about 3 days in a row then take a day off and just fish 11am till 3pm. in va the trophy size fish is 20" or 5lbs. didn't have a scale but i caught 39 that was 20" or better, biggest being almost 23" and still hope to fish again before the years out just looking for a warm spell so i can get out in the river do most of my fishing by wadding. took a trip to erie caught a lot of big bass but just fished 1 day. it was a great year hope next will be better

thanks for the welcome everyone. Sam my daughter lives on lake Chesdin, i've been on the lake to boat ride (ski and ski board) but haven't fished it.
