  1. That ain't true. Dragging a Rage Tail Lobster along the bottom will get you bit in a lake filled with tomato soup.
  2. I just KNEW you were going with fishing therapy. Well, everything appears to be in order here, so just continue on the current regimine, until it's all better. And call me in the morning (no, really call me in the morning, I got a question for ya). Nice fish, buddy!
  3. Reeeaaalllllyyyy? Actually, yeah, I figured.
  4. Hey, Pipes, nice to have ya. Good luck at Ossipee. Beautiful lake. I never fished it, but I'd like to sometime. Any good trout fishing up there? Haha. Just kidding. I don't care.
  5. Hahaha! Awesome! So, hey, anybody crappie fishing lately?
  6. Whoa! If you're going after pike in the Ct, then you gotta trek waaay up North. Although, there are people that can help you more. I've never been there on a dedicated Northern Pike trip. I did catch a monster one in the Merrimack, though. Yes, the Merrimack. Couple inches shy of the state record.
  7. I've now caught 2 pickerel bigger than the NH state record. Who cares? I can't stand those fish. I gotta say, though, one that size makes you think for a second that you could have a 10lb bass on the line. Then... limpy. Stupid snot rockets.
  8. Mainly a flippin bait for me, too, but I've caught fish on it just about every way you can imagine, including topwater. Very versatile bait. My favorite color is the Falcon Craw.
  9. Highland Lake, Merrimack River, Turtle, Bow Lake, Crooked Pond, Half moon Pond. Take your pick. There are monsters in all those places. " Best" is also a relative term. For sheer numbers, tough to beat Squam and Winni, but takes more time than I have put in to find the big ones.
  10. Mainebass, buddy. You're lookin' good . Definitely been finding some chunks. I like it.
  11. Nice work, man. Couple beauts right there.
  12. Lews BB1, I believe to be the best reel for a buck and a half. You should peruse the flea market on here. Some goood stuff for way less than retail.
  13. 11.69 lbs caught on a jig/Lobster
  14. Yeah, I will give him the benefit of doubt on this one. Doesn't seem like the type to do something like this. I mean, for what? Nev, just try to be careful when posting the stuff. Oh, and stop trying to bread the bass with dirt like Beverly was talking about. It's very bad for the fish. I do cringe everytime I see that. Thanks, and rock on with your bad self.
  15. Couple things to consider. First, his fall rate would have been faster, and that could have been the ticket. Second, were you both using the same trailer? If not, that definitely coulda been it. Third, was he back boating you? Like pithing to choice places first? Also, if he was on a good jig bite, and you were busy messing around with lure choices and stuff, then he had his bait in the water much more than you, greatly increasing his odds of catching more fish than you. Lastly, think about what he was actually doing with his jig. Was he hopping, dragging, swimming, yo-yo ing? And were you doing the same or different? There are a thousand factors involved with catching a bass. Lure choice is only one of them.
  16. Moaner Predator Seibert Big O Brush Jig Northstar Black Series Northstar Flip N Swim
  17. Gotta be some small, out of the way places you can find, and have pretty much all to yourself maybe.
  18. Yup, same fish, and as a matter of fact, both the fish posted in post 128 of last month's thing, are the same fish. Nev, not too cool, buddy.
  19. Oh, and by the way... I'm in. Not sure how much I'll be out there again this month, but I'll sure try!
  20. Jigs. Can't help myself!
  21. Doubtful. Probably the most over fished piece of water in the state. You want a real shot at a 10 pounder in NH? Fish Highland Lake in Stoddard. I have personally seen a 10+ in there.
  22. Big O will come on and give you the answers you seek, but I can tell you, the original Craw moves more water than the DB Craw. The bigger single claws, and bigger flanges of the original create a wider throw with more resistance, therefore, more thump. These new ones are a tighter wiggle, and they don't spread out on the retrieve. The extra pincers add a lot of depth within the arms of the bait, while remaining more in line with the rest of it. If they were sound waves, the original would have more bass, and the DB would be more midrange. The Menace would be the treble.
  23. Wish I could help, but I barely even know how to get to Milford, and I haven't shore fished in a dog's age. Sorry. I'd just start running around on Google Earth, and find some water. You may just discover a secret spot with some lunkers in it!
  24. No, they don't float. The only Rage Tails that float, are the Crab and Shrimp, made of Elaztec.
