  1. No, I reel lefty all the time, but I'm right handed. Go figure, huh?
  2. Cool! Staying on the good ones, I see. Love the Photo!
  3. The claws don't flail out as much as the original Craw on the retrieve, and the inside flappers give the bait a real 3-D look in the water. Basically, it is a slightly lower profile bait than the original, while adding a little something extra in those claws.
  4. Just to get you to buy them. That's it. Bass do not need to see every antenna and leg to think it's a meal. Get the right size and profile, and sometimes color, and those bass are going to eat it if they are feeding on craws.
  5. If you don't have a crap ton of milfoil where you are fishing, then do this. Lights out! 1/4oz Jika Rig with a Rage DB or regular Craw. So money, it's silly.
  6. Hmmm.... Guess we have similar tastes. Course, I was only pitching in 7' water, and not heavy veggies, so the lighter weight, and not pegged. Deadly little Craw!
  7. Bob, if you are going with a crank, this time of year, it's tough to beat a Red Eye Shad, and a KVD 1.5 in the patterns of whatever baitfish are where you are, in this area, Bluegill and perch.
  8. What do you mean, no bite on a Rage Craw? The only fish I got today, were on the Rage DB Craw, Tx rigged. Actually, a fish or two on the Cut 'R Worm, too. You don't get bit on a Rage Craw, just go home, because all the bass have left the building.
  9. Way to go, Jitterbug! That's what I'm talkin' about!
  10. Recon is 10" with a bigger than that profile. Green Pumpkin is a good choice, but my fav is Falcon Craw.
  11. What lunker tourny? Ill be fishing in the rain anyway! Oh, and mike, go with a recon worm and 5/0 hook
  12. Anyone else fishing today? Im out here now, and not only is it beautiful now that the fog lifted, but the fishing is ON! Deeper water, slow rolled swim jig in the grass.
  13. Yeah, can't argue with that!
  14. If you're chasing a hawg, then throw hawg-catching stuff. Big jigs/trailers, huge Tx rigged worms and Lobsters, or swimbaits. Location is all over the road right now.
  15. Oh yeah. Water temps dancing around 70, and cool nights are getting 'em fired up. Not all the time yet, but some days they are maniacs!
  16. Yes, separate that tab, and T rig it on a 4/0 hook, and weight according to depth and conditions, but 1/4oz is a good place to start.
  17. You timed it just right, Derrick. You can usually find a pattern quick this time of year, and there are some fatties, because they are starting the fall feed up. Try moving baits, like swim jigs, spinnerbaits, and shallow cranks to find active fish, then stay fishing the same depth you find 'em at. I like to go with HUGE presentation swim jigs, looking for the biggest fish around. Lobster or Space Monkey on a 1/4 oz bluegill swim or brush jig.
  18. Wow, guys, I'm really sorry for you. I know how much dreaming and anticipation goes into a trip like this, and that's gotta be a kick in the nuts. At least March is still on, right? Good call on that trip insurance, too, A-Jay.
  19. Yup, that's my Craw for the fall, Felix.
  20. Think of the way a craw actually moves across the bottom. Do they shimmy on their tail in a constant defensive position? No.
  21. If by rip off, you mean, they give you the best action of any craw on the market, then yeah, total rip off. Enjoy your chigger fatties or whatever China made crap you're runnin'.
  22. Dude's on fiyah! That 8's a slob, man! Nice job.
  23. Guess I ain't make the cut yet. Haha. Wait for it!
