  1. Yeah, I guess it's nice to have seasons, but overall, I'd rather have soft water and big fish all year, so I'd take your temps over mine.
  2. Best of Saturday. Fish 2 17" And best of today. Fish 3 18" (I caught over 30 fish in 2 1/2 hrs today, but they were all 16-17") That's 18", 17", 18" for 53" total so far for me (3 fish) Stay on 'em, y'all! The fall bite is on.
  3. some nice fish there, Mainebass!
  4. I don't know, but it must've been a heck of a fight, because your breast pocket is a little out of place there. Nice fish! Maybe gar or bird attack on the tail at some point for that fish?
  5. That's cool, man! That fish is bigger than 4lbs, especially at 21". More like 5.
  6. Had one on this morning, buddy. Lost her trying to lip her. The hook was in the tongue, and barely hooked at that. Tried reaching too far, and she jerked her head down, and was off. Watched her slowly mosey away like nothing happened. At least 8lbs. I was using a swim jig with an entire Shadalicious swimbait on it for a trailer.
  7. Chubby fellas, ain't they? Somebody's been eating good in the neighborhood.
  8. Nice fish! Congrats on the PB! Sounds like a fun way to catch her!
  9. Whew, cuz I sure do talk a lot of smack about Roadwarrior!
  10. Some nice fish there, TC235.
  11. Got out for about an hour and a half, during the calm before the (wind) storm. Caught 6 or 7 that were between 15-16", and one that was a little better at 18". All on moving baits (Swim jig,Rage rig). 18" (fish 1)
  12. Blue Sapphire is a great color for me in the river, especially when it's running high and muddy.
  13. Black n Blue jig/ Craw is a timeless classic.
  14. I should need a license to carry that thing.
  15. Rage Hawg in Falcon Craw color.
  16. Thanks, Jeff. That's what I thought. I'd love to go down there.
  17. Nicely done, Marspeed.
  18. Either way. I rig it both ways, depending on how I'm fishing it. When rigged vertical, it strongly resembles a bait fish swimming.
  19. Are there a million netters there, or is that lake not open to netting? Jitterbug, that would be an amazing graduation gift, and it would be the best fishing you've ever done.
  20. I lost what would have been my state's new state record LM back in '09. That hurt. Would have also been my first ever 10+lb bass in NH, which is ridiculous. All you can do, is try and save a lesson learned from the experience, and try again. We catch fish, we lose fish, and there's always gonna be that one that got away, because it happens to everyone at some point.
  21. Count me in, homies. September in the NE is a great month to catch some serious fish, so there will be pigs! I will be around as much as possible, but this month I have a ton of stuff going on with my son's school and soccer, but I'll get out whenever I can, and have a little fun! See you fellas on the measuring tape! Good luck, all!
  22. That's awesome! I've been outta town, and couldn't finish out the month strong, but it was cool. I'll send you some baits, Mars, just pm me your stuff. Great job to everybody, and great luck for Sept to all who participate again.
  23. Well said. Some are bass fishermen, others are big bass hunters.
