  1. Well, I know someone who does that several times a week, so what's the deal?
  2. There you go, dude! That's how you fish that place.
  3. It's true. Flippin to that super slop, and slamming a big fish in there is a blast! I use the Strike King one, and a Lobster or Space Monkey on a Heavy rod and 65lb braid.
  4. Great pic and fish, ETB.
  5. I'd start with a C-rigged Eel or Lizard, then a 3/4oz jig/Rage Lobster. Find the depth the baitfish are at, then fish structure at that depth.
  6. The one you're using has been my favorite.
  7. Nooo waaayyyy! That really sucks, man. Sorry to hear it, but glad you guys are alright. Yeah, you're right. fishing was good today, though. Hit me up, I got a combo you can use till you get setup again, no worries. It's just a Vendetta with a STX on it, but it's got new 17lb flouro so you can still fish jigs, Tx rigs, even light topwater on it.
  8. It's gotta be the best C-rig bait in the world. Big O himself will tell you that he can be outfished in his own boat, in his own waters, if he's using a jig or T-rig, and the other guy breaks out the C-rigged Eel. It didn't work for me, but apparently, it can be done. Light wire 4/0, 18" leader, on a braid mainline.
  9. Rage Tail Eeliminator or Lizard!
  10. Yup. You're not holding them tight enough.
  11. It's nice when that place is like that. What depth were you getting bit?
  12. Nice_Bass, nice bass!
  13. Thanks for posting that, Speed. Looks like I was referring to "Fork Length". Either way is fine, but we should all do it the same from now on, ya know? And yeah, why aren't you in on this?
  14. Cool, man! Glad you came back in.

Or a Baby Craw. Don't forget the Baby Craw on a swim jig. Good choice on that Bluegill North Star.
  16. Light Rage-Rigged 7" Thumper or Cutt'R Worm.
  17. Still, not a bad day. At least you're figuring out the fish. A lot of people are struggling with that.
  18. 3/8 oz Black n Blue swim jig with a matching Baby Craw trailer at the Stump. Don't waste your time flipping the obvious, visible trees. Get off shore, and fish deep and slow. There's nice fish there, just tough to find 'em. Good luck!
  19. Mmm Hmmm. Lizards are just as deadly. Ps- Turtle still holds my personal highest numbers day ever. Over 75 bass, most of which were between 3 and 5 lbs, all on a C-rigged Lizard (Wat. Red). The place was packed with boats all around the entire perimeter, not catching fish, and there I was, out in the middle, catching bass after bass, sometimes on 3 or 4 consecutive casts. People were looking at me funny.
  20. You guys are killin' me! I checked in on BR from the water, and was reading through that stuff, and bursted out laughing. The other two boats fishing near me were like "What the hell is up with that guy?". Anyway, I hooked into a biggun , but she got off somehow. Sucked. Probably about a 7 pounder or so.
  21. Dude, Turtle has much bigger fish, but nobody ever catches them, because they all do the same thing. Don't just fish for a bite, fish for the big bite! Most of the time when you do that, you have all the water to yourself. Try a C-rigged Eeliminator in any water there over 10', and tell me how that goes. 4/0 hook, 50lb braid mainline, 12lb flouro leader. 1/2oz weight should be good for ya.
  22. Thanks. Going to catch her mother later. You should stay in, though.
  23. Hopefully, you'll get your own!
