  1. Rage Tail, and probably use the Craws the most.
  2. Well, I'd take a couple, and one for the wife, my son, and probably a couple more for a couple other people. PM me if you think you wanna do it.
  3. How custom are we talkin'? If you come up with a big old fat Largemouth with a Rage Craw hanging out of it's mouth, and that says Team Rage Tail in the actual font and colors, I'll take 'em!
  4. New Hampshire is $35 plus another $10 to add trout.
  5. Yeah, Slonezp, that's kinda what I had in mind. Thanks for the tip.
  6. A friend of mine has an Orra, and I hate it. I've owned a Citica, and it would be a no brainer for me to choose between these two. Citica in a heartbeat!
  7. I'm sure that epoxy will hold it just fine. Looks like a good idea. I was just pondering how I was going to mount a transducer on my aluminum jon boat, and this would be perfect, but $50?!? There's gotta be a way to make this sort of thing cheaper, and just buy the epoxy to mount it. Maybe plexi?
  8. Yeah, the Menace is one of my favorites for sure!
  9. You're right. they are two different groups of bass. Aside from seasonal migration, they don't really move too far. As far as finding fish on a sonar, I'm not looking for the fish most of the time, I'm looking for what the fish will be looking for.
  10. I haven't had a problem finding the Shads. Man, if I couldn't fish the Shad, I'd have a heart attack!
  11. In two feet of snow! Don't forget the snow!
  12. While RM is an expert on the subject, and he is absolutely correct in what he said, I am going to have to respectfully disagree with that thought process. The reason being, reels do come over-greased, that's a fact. Grease picks up dirt, dust, grime, and whatever else. While running a reel with all that crap in there for a year would probably not ever be noticeable, it also will most likely never do ENOUGH damage to the reel to render it inoperable and therefore covered under warranty. If it does, do you really want to go through the hassle of shipping back to the manufacturer, wait for it, and have all that down time? Not me. The other thing, is if you run it for a whole year or season, with dirt in it, and it is doing some (even slight) damage to it's insides, then you have it cleaned, you still have a reel that now has some unnecessary wear and tear on it, that could have been foregone in the first place. Not to mention, reels perform waaay better once they have been broken down and cleaned, and I want to enjoy my reels to their fullest as soon as I can.
  13. Haha! Yeah, and you got to the lake by horse and buggy probably, too, huh?
  14. There is a lot to walk around and see, but, yeah, 3 days is a little too much. Good thing about this year, is there's always the Hard Rock Casino!
  15. I don't clean them right away. I will fish them for a couple weeks, then send them in for a thorough breakdown clean/lube. First it lets me know if there are any problems with the reel, and second, it sort of gives the reel a break in period. They do need to be done, even when they're new, though.
  16. Just run it, and drain all the water out by trimming all the way down, and skip the motor bumps just to be safe. Probably wouldn't hurt anything, but it might wear your impeller out over time doing it out of water.
  17. Congrats on the hawg!
  18. That ain't gonna happen before the Classic! Wouldn't be just Rapala that would be peeved!
  19. Nothing's falling apart. There was a working prototype a year ago, but like you said, it takes time for R&D and copyrights. Oh yeah, and filming it in action!
  20. Aaah... we have a thinker. The original concept and design, yes. Turns out, that's not the best way to make money for a company, so it is being incorporated into a line of cranks.
  21. Yeah, that lake hardly has any water in it right now. They bring it waaay down in the winter.
  22. I take my wife out a few times a year. She enjoys the time with me, and she's getting really good at hooking and landing some big fish. Just this last year, she landed her new PB of 7lbs. That's bigger than most people's PB in New Hampshire.
  23. Well, if I know there there are bass in it, I will fish it until I figure it out. The convenience factor makes it that much easier.
