  1. Exactly right, NHBassmaster. Today fished Turtle for a little bit, and didn't catch crap, but maybe a cold. I think we need another warm up to kick 'em into full on pre spawn, and then it's just on everywhere.
  2. That still gives me the shivers, ETB. Monster like that on top. Yessir!
  3. 9lbs,1oz on a jig/Baby Craw (last week-PB). Actually, all 10 of my top 10 biggest fish have been on a Rage Tail of some sort.
  4. I can't wait to get out fishing with you!
  5. Sometimes you just don't feel like getting wet, especially if it's a place right by your house.
  6. Lily Pond in Pittsfield (maybe considered Gilford). Nice little place pretty close to home, and I know the patterns there well, so it's usually good for a good one or two every time I go.
  7. Today I got a bunch of stuff to do, so I really can't fish, but I did grab the jon boat, and went up the road to Lily Pond for a couple early morning fish maybe. Got there at 5:00, and only got to fish for an hour, because my battery went dead on me. Either the batterie's shot, or my charger, because it said 100%. Anyway, when I first got there, it was freezing, but still got two 2 pounders on a Rage Shad, worked just as sloww as I could go. Found a school of jittery baitfish, and swapped out to my swim jig. Let it sink for 3 seconds, bump it once, and THUMP! I knew there isn't a tree right there, so I set it hard, and grabbed a healthy specimine just a hair under 6. Besides that, got one more small one on the jig, same way as the big one.
  8. Rage Craw all the way. Best thing to hit the jig since the weed guard.
  9. Cool. I'll be in touch.
  10. Nice job, Pa1n. The pre spawn feed is definitely on, for sure.
  11. That settles it, NHBassmaster. Spofford on Wed, the 4th. Never been there, but really want to.
  12. If I can use the bass boat, I'll have an open seat.
  13. I'm in! Now, can I use my bass boat if I keep the big motor off? Either way, I'll be there!
  14. Yeah, we got better smallie waters in NH. Now here's another question. Where are you guys' favorite places for spawn time smallies? Mine is Massabesic.
  15. I can't believe nobody has mentioned a Chatterbait. Killer in the rain with a Baby Craw trailer.
  16. Heck yeah, early Sunday morning. Launch in the dark type of stuff.
  17. Most people don't because it gets hammered, and the bigger fish are just a little smarter. Until 3 years ago, the biggest fish I ever caught there, was a 4 pounder. Now I've caught 6 over 6lbs.
  18. Oh yeah, I'll bring my own boat. I'm gonna need a little extra space for gear anyway, since I don't know this pond. How big is this place, anyway?
  19. And this 125 lb honey, my wife, and her first bass of the year. She apparently takes better pictures than me.
  20. Yeah. buddy! They are in pre spawn mode, but this front slowed the bite significantly. Black n blue jig here, too. Not many today, but got to spend a couple minutes with this 7lb,7oz honey. Tight lines, all. Keep the reports coming!
  21. Count me in on your jon boat trip. Sundays are best. Name the day, I'll be there I almost guarantee there are at least 5's or a 6 or two in there. I've never fished it, but I'd like to take a crack at it.
  22. Nice! Good day right there. I'm actually loading up to take my wife fishing right now.Great job, guys!
  23. Hey, thanks, je1946. I am registered, and my Tx rig hooks are Mustads. That would be pretty sweet! I'd buy a bigger boat, and some nasty electronics with that 100 G's. Thanks again for thinkin' of me.
