  1. Congrats on that one, bud! Beautiful fish!
  2. Thanks! Dwight, I'm pretty sure you know where some 7's hang out. I'd almost put money on it, that mine will not be the winning entry, but she sure as heck was fun to catch!
  3. I absolutely crushed 'em today. Got on the water at 5:00, and within minutes had a pattern in the works. I was tossing a Rage Shad, and following up with a swim jig/Baby Craw. Caught a 5 pounder on the Shad. Then a 3lb. Then a 4lb. This kept on for quite a few fish. Then, around 7:00, it got interesting while I was fishing the swim jig, caught a 7-2. The bass are in full pre spawn patterns, and feeding like crazy. All I was doing, was finding the places where the perch were feeding up shallow, and the bass were there. A little bit later, I was sight fishing a shallow (3-4 feet deep) flat, and saw a complete beast. I pitched my jig behind her and didn't spook her. She made a move on a perch, missed, and when she turned back around, there was my jig in her face, and she killed it! New PB of 9lbs, 1oz (23 1/4"). I have better pictures that need to be downloaded off my sim card, but for now, here's a sneak peek at what I believe to be the biggest bass in this place. I'm not gonna say where I was today, but some of you have fished here. In fact, probably most of you. So, if anyone recognizes it, don't be yellin' it out, cool?
  4. Nice fish! I'd say close to 8 is pretty spot on. Congrats to both of you on a great outting, and happy birthday to you, man!
  5. Well, it happened today. I did break my PB, and will be entering with a 9lb,1oz (23.25"). New Hampshire state record largemouth is 10lbs, 8oz. Anyone wanna do the math for me? I have a couple cell pics, but believe the ones I have on my actual camera are better, but I am having a problem with my pc, and it won't let me download from my sim card. Should be able to do it somewhere else, and e-mail myself the pics. Anyway, caught her (plus another 7-2), on a bluegill colored swim jig, with Watermelon Red Baby Craw, tips dipped in chartreuse JJ's. Here's one of the cell pics, just to be official, but more are to come (including one on the scale).
  6. I'm only posting a catch if it's a new PB.
  7. Yes I do. Smallies, largemouth, salmon, bluegill, crappie, and some of the biggest perch I've ever seen in that river, not to mention carp, pickerel, and suckers, if you're into all that stuff. I target just LM and SM, but catch everything under the sun in that place. Two days ago, I landed (possibly illegally) a 12lb salmon. She was released, just in case you were wondering.
  8. Wow! Kinda makes me want to try some swimbaits.
  9. Nice fish, Paul. I would've done the same thing. Beat 'em to your spots!
  10. Haha. I'm not even counting the 7-2 I caught last night against our 10-8 record. The season is young, my freinds.
  11. Good luck, buddy!
  12. Puttin' the smack down on those pigs!
  13. Let's do it. I'm in.
  14. Awesome, man! Congrats!
  15. Heck yeah, that's a beast!
  16. Yeah, my wife did the same thing. Luckily, I was there anyway, so I forgave her. L to R: Intheweeds, Big O, Me, Rondef
  17. I'd say a 3/4oz football jig with a Baby Craw.
  18. Nice job! That rig is one of my favorites. When I'm on bigger fish, I step it up to a Lobster. Get's 'em every time.
  19. Couldn't agree more. I got to spend all weekend with the man, and it was the best time a guy could ask for!
  20. The Rage Grub has been killer every way I've fished it. My current favorite, is on the drop shot.
  21. Wow, man! Incredible fish!
