  1. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to spend a few extra cents on the BEST baits, with the BEST action, and catch the better fish, but that's just me. Chunk, Baby Craw, Craw, Lobster... those are the best for for action.
  2. I've had tons of success with black and white, just never at the same time! Sounds like an interesting bait, though,I bet it'll catch you one or two.
  3. I also use a 7.1 without an issue. Comes in handy when you wanna burn it, or just slow down for slow rolling, or working like a jig. Go with a slower reel, and you take away some of the versatility of the bait.
  4. So I hit my bass hole pond, and hammered the fish. I know, to the guys that have fished there with me, it's hard to beleive that there are actually fish in there, since I always have a hard time anytime I bring anyone, but today was good! 12 fish in all, two over 5 lbs, one just over 4lbs, and four about 2.5lbs, the rest were dinks. I was pretty pumped to finally have a good day out there. The first big one was on a jig/Rage Craw(wat. red), and the second big one was on a Rage Lobster(okeechobee). the 5-7 the 5-12
  5. Yeah, that is a great reel. I have an '09 as well, and love it.
  6. Kinda sounds like you are talking about the '09 Revo. In that case, get the Curado, but if you can get the '10 Revo for $140, I'd buy two of them before they change their mind! The 2010 STX adds dual braking, and a much better drag, and is one awesome reel. You can't go wrong with either, though.
  7. Nice ones! I was scrolling down on your picture, and was like "yeah, nice smallie to beat the skunk" then I got down to the second one, and was like "daaamn!" Sweet double.
  8. 7" Rage Tail Anaconda on a 1/8 oz keel-weighted 5/0 hook. Killer.
  9. During the day, I usually switch from black , to white or green/chartreuse.
  10. Yeah, man, no problem! It was a good time out there today, but ended up with no fish, probably cuz I brought my buddy to that place for the first time. He ended up with a descent 5 fish bag, and his best day fishing of the year. At least somebody was catchin' 'em today! I did lose two good fish, though. Next stop is gonna be Turkey Pond.
  11. The new 7" Thumper is one killer little bait! One of my favorites right now. Congrats on such successful day with 'em.
  12. Couple nice chunks there.
  13. NIIIIIICCEEEE!!!! Kent IS the man.
  14. Are you serious? That's insane! Congrats on an incredible day on the water! And with your little man, none the less! Awesome!
  15. Seriously? Nobody fishing today? I was out for a couple hours this morning, got a few but only dinks. Headin' back out around 6:00 to find the mommas!
  16. Nashua, you didn't say what you were currently using for line, or if you are using spinning or casting gear. On spinning reels, try out a co-poly or flourocarbon line in 8 or 10lb test for soft plastics. If you are using casting gear, step it up to 12 or 15lb test. Congrats on the fish.
  17. No, but that sure does make bait and color selections easy!

They can work in all those conditions, but I guess if I had to pick one time, I'd go with early mornings, and switch to another presentation if that doesn't pan out. Keep at, you'll get 'em!
  19. I'm a Pantera fan. Cowboys from hell rocks!
  20. Yeah, I personally know a couple of the Tuttles, and it really is too bad.
  21. Fmoore... SLOW HORIZONTAL FALL!!!! Gets 'em all the time!
  22. 10 packs of Rage Tail Craws in Falcon Craw color.
  23. Not too weird, actually. It's been hot or cold all year, but I keep going back because I know there's some hawgs that live in there.
  24. Yeah, buddy. I'm headin' back out there around 6:00.
  25. at least the bass hole is back on with some better fish. Few hours this morning I got 9, biggest was 4-2. All of came on a jig with baby craw, and tx rigged rage craw on a keel weighted hook.
