Frog rod and line
My frog setup is a Vendetta with a Revo STX, and am real happy with it. The Revo is spooled with Power Pro 50lb braid.

Does anybody else find themselves throwing soft plastics more often than hardbaits?
I throw soft plastics or jigs/plastic trailers about 90% of the time. The biggest exception, is spinnerbaits. I rarely use cranks anymore.

Cranking Batterys
I run a group 24 Interstate cranking battery, and been more than happy with that. Group 27 Interstate for trolling.

soft plastic lizards
They work all year. I love c-rigging a lizard when it's hot in summer on off shore points, rock piles, channels, and drop offs.

Favorite topwater frog?
For hollow body, the Spro is it! For buzz toads, Rage Toad is awesome!

soft plastic lizards
No other lizard on the market has better action all around than the Rage Lizard. Great weightless around grass and shorelines, and work like magic on a Carolina rig.

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
Thanks guys! My wife caught a nice 3 pounder, too on a jig with Baby Craw on it, then she left me to fish in the rain, and my next cast got that beauty.

Yeah Fmoore, out today in the rain! Caught a bunch of nice fish today while it was raining, then when it cleared up, the bite slowed way down.

My biggest of the year so far 6lbs 5oz, caught with weightless Rage Tail Lizard (junebug dipped in chartreuse JJ's)

rage tail space monkey
Absolutely! I use them on a Tx Rig, with a Tungston weight, and dip the claws during the day in chart JJ's. Usually watermelon red, or black/blue at night. They're also pretty deadly worked weightless across grass flats or matted milfoil.

Strike King Rage Tails are the STUFF!
Sounds like you got yourself some of my personal favorite baits! I do find it a little odd that you're having such an issue with the tails on the Anaconda, though. Usually they hold up just fine, so I can't help but wonder if it might be another species biting the tail off. I have seen that happen (especially pickerel and bluegill). As far as the Eeliminator goes, it is a lot of fun to use as a top water bait, and that works great, especially for smallies for me, but definitely try it on a Carolina rig. Use the 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hooks, and when you move it, sweep your rod sideways, and work it slow, and this thing is killer! My most productive colors have been black/blue flake, and watermelon red, in both the Rooster and Eeliminator, but all the colors have worked in a lot of different conditions, so stick with whatever you like.

rubber worm types
Rage Thumper worm! The big action gets the attention of the bigger fish in the area, and it can be cut to give a tighter wobble, which works wonders if you're swimming it.

Bronzebacks on the Fly
That has got to be a thrill! Beautiful fish!

My Good Luck Client
Awesome fish!! My PB came on a Rage Shad with Megastrike. Deadly combination right there!

Rage Tail!!!!
Blue Streak, try this. Go up to a size 5/0 Owner Twistlock. The screw lock in the center of the head, and the size and weight of the heavy wire hook helps it run the way it's supposed to, and as long as you stick in in the center, and don't skin hook it too much, it should help you get that baby runnin' good, and you're gonna love it on a C rig! Good luck!

Rage Tail. Epic Fail.

Well, UNH, Masabesic can be a tough place to fish, however, I have caught a bunch of real nice fish outta there, both largemouth and smallmouth. For the smallies, there's an area straigh back in the first section of the lake, past a few islands on your right, then hook way around some huge boulders, and troll right up the back bank. There's a shelf there, and when you work a plastic off the shelf, and it falls, there's usually a smallie there to grab it. Baits that have worked for me there, include weightless senkos, trickworms, Rage Craws, and small jigs. For LM, right now is the best time to hit it. Anywhere outside coves is money, including the cove right to your right as you launch (in Auburn), work all the way around that first penninsula, and throughout the coves, and you'll get bit by the largemouths. Early in the morning is best, and if it's still dark, throw topwater buzz frogs (I recommend the Rage Toad or Shad).

Serenity, solitude, silence and fish
My 10' jon gets more water time than my bass boat.
-
rage tail craw
Yeah, I do that, too but I just use Baby Craws. Way better action than a standard trailer!

My Best Michigan LMB
Awesome! That fish is beautiful! Congrats

sickest topwater hit i've seen
He definitely wasn't expecting that! That was a biggun, too. It kinda looks like he lost it.
