  1. What happens if you want to have a fish fry at the ramp?
  2. Yeah, but I'd sure hate to get the Hershey squirts as a sidebar to buying a boat. It would be difficult to get the stains out of the boat carpet.
  3. When you can afford it
  4. You can clean fish once you have reached shore. When transporting the fish the skin must be intact on the filet
  5. Really nothing new. They've been selling rod holders, storage, and coolers for jetski's for years. There's a salt water angler named jetskibrian who has made a career with fishing and photography out of a jetski
  6. It was a fathers day present from my sister. Her husband is in the orange, I'm in brown, and my dad is the old fart. The charter was a half day, but we had filled the boat in 3 hours.
  7. A 3 man limit of salmon from a few years back
  8. I could, but all those activities require effort.
  9. My Merc takes NGK and my Evinrude takes Champion. That's what the mfg recommends, that's what I use.
  10. Check the manual. Probably recommends 87
  11. So, you're wearing gloves. What temp are you catching cats on topwater? I catch cats all summer where the bass should be. I catch them in cold water with crappies. Don't fight worth a **** when the water is cold. They roll all the way to the boat.
  12. The real question is, Does Mike put the brown trout in the livewell or drop them in the lake?
  13. Anything's possible depending on what time of year it was made.
  14. Congrats...but nobody cares it's not a $60k Triton...until you start winning tournaments.
  15. Yep. Confirmed today on local news
  16. Technically, we've already had ice out. 51* and 2" of rain today. It's all gone. Bottoms going to drop out next week and back in the teens for highs.
  17. Beat up and cosmetic imperfections are 2 different things in my mind. It doesn't look as if there are deep gouges or anything that could compromise the boats seaworthiness. Maybe I am different than most as I feel a boat is a merely a tool to hunt and catch fish.
  18. If the scratches are cosmetic you can put a wrap on the boat for a grand or so. Im looking at the pics on my phone and best i can tell, it appears that the scratches on the bottom are from beaching the boat and scratches on the side are dock rash.
  19. I'd put the Bears team that was on the field yesterday up against anyone. Yesterdays game showed a work in progress and that the Bears can play both sides of the ball well. They are not the same Bears they were 15 weeks ago. Tribusky still needs some honing but he's on his way to being able to lead/manage his offense with conviction. If he can perfect that, it will make up for his lack of strength. He's no Cutler or Favre when it comes to throwing bullets. Barring any injuries, the Bears will be in good standings, in the division, for years to come. The rest of the NFC North is aging and it shows. Based on his performance, it's a good thing Rodgers signed a contract this year. Can't blame everything on McCarthy. Stafford is done. The Vikings are good but they're not great.
  20. Look into Vortex hubs if you want to push grease thru the system. A bearing buddy greased properly merely keeps good grease on the bearings. The Vortex hubs have a zerk fitting to add grease and a bleed fitting to expel old grease while you're pushing grease thru the system. Second, the bearing buddy's do not have threads. They do not screw on, they are installed with a mallet. They have gripping ridges which wear out with repeated removal and installation.
  21. You still need to do a repack every few years. The bearing buddies can only be removed and reinstalled once or twice. After that, the gripping grooves wear out and you'll throw the bearing buddy off when in tow.
  22. Let me tell you a secret. Boats have been made out of wood since about 8000BC. Tracker no longer uses wood and closed cell foam can become waterlogged if given the chance.
