Company For Recycling Your Baits
You could be profitable getting used bulk plastics for free, separating colors, and melting them down to pour into your own molds, providing you have a customer base sold on the recycled concept. You are limiting your market. That is not necessarily a bad thing. I'f you can sell at a pricepoint between $2-$3 a bag, you will undercut the pricepoint of new plastics. Unfortunately, not everyone is sold on the concept of recycling. Secondly, and more importantly, bait manufacturers spend millions of dollars on marketing. If I think Rage Craw is the in bait this year, why would I buy Recycled Craw? and before I forget, Kudos to you for being business minded at such a young age.

Company For Recycling Your Baits
You want to charge me to send you old plastics? Not gonna happen. May I suggest you pay for shipping via an agreed price with UPS or USPS for the size and weight of plastics that will fit in a 1 gallon ziplock bag. I email you when I have a full bag of plastics. You email me a shipping label, a current catalog, and a discount code to buy your recycled baits. Second, contact Bass Pro, Cabelas, Dicks, your local bait and tackle. Ask if you could place a bait recycle bin in the lobby. (Maybe a shippable tote). The bin would advertise your business and how us, as fisherman can help save the environment. Maybe a tear off coupon with your website info and a discount code.

Your son doesn't look that hairy?- More Nitro advice ( non-jack plate)
Unfortunately, the cop that pulls you over won't care what Tracker says. PA isn't the only state that requires crossed chains. I would call Tracker and ask. Worse comes to worse, you bolt some chains on it.- Re-powering the Lund 1875 Pro-V Bass Boat
I use spot lock usually for a vertical presentation in deep water with no current and no wind. If there's light current or light wind, I will use cruise control. I can set the cruise control speed to .1mph and set the direction. As long as there are not irregular wind gusts, this works better than spot lock because the motor doesn't need to keep correcting itself. (Note: I have the old version of the GPS head on the Terrova. The latest version is supposed to be 10x better than the gen 1 and the spot lock far superior) If the current is medium or higher, I can set the cruise control to equal the speed of the drift. This will ensure a vertical presentation. Once the drift is complete, I'll head up current and do it again. and a Talon is a shallow water anchor....- Do you consider "live" bait cheating?
I pick apart a dock for crappie and bluegill no different than if I would pick it apart for bass. I believe that bass fishing has made me a better pan fisherman, and pan fishing has made me a better bass fisherman. ALL freshwater fish follow the same rules.- Do you consider "live" bait cheating?
What makes you think using live bait requires sitting in one spot waiting for fish to swim by and attack your minnow or worm? I didn't read this thread except for this last page. I don't fish for bass with live bait. I do, however, fish for panfish with live bait. When I fish for them, I am not polpping the bobber out in the lake and crossing my fingers. I am actively hunting fish and moving constantly until I find them. No different than using artificials to bass fish. BTW, I catch bass all the time when I'm panfishing.- Trolling motor confusion
Looks like a pretty cool setup. Minn Kota has something similar- More Nitro advice ( non-jack plate)
A quick search says in your home state of PA https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/LI/consCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&ttl=75&div=0&chpt=49&sctn=5&subsctn=0 (d) Safety chains.--Whenever two vehicles are connected by a ball-and-socket type hitch, or pintle hook without a locking device, they shall also be connected by two safety chains of equal length, each safety chain having an ultimate strength at least equal to the gross weight of the towed vehicles. The safety chains shall be crossed and connected to the towed and towing vehicle and to the tow bar so as to prevent the tow bar from dropping to the ground in the event the tow bar fails or becomes disconnected. The safety chains shall have no more slack than is necessary to permit proper turning.- Re-powering the Lund 1875 Pro-V Bass Boat
With 1 Talon your stern needs to be facing upriver. You can use the trolling motor to pivot on the anchor and fish perpendicular to the current. A single Talon will hold in what I call "fishable" current. It won't hold in heavy current on a hard bottom. It will on a soft bottom. I don't know if 2 would be any better in heavy current. As far as wind and 1 Talon, it's going to be similar to current using the TM and Talon in conjunction with each other. The only scenario I can think of that would require 2 Talons is bed fishing in current and wind.- Re-powering the Lund 1875 Pro-V Bass Boat
I have both a Terrova with spot lock and a Talon. One does not replace the other- Boat insurance question
Your insurance will be heavily based on the value of the loss. A $30K valuation will cost more than a $10k valuation. Bot insurance is different than car insurance. A good policy does not see depreciation. If you pay $30k for your boat and it sinks 10 years later, you get $30k- When Bass are out of water
