I think you would need to go with the Helix 7 Gen2 for the smallest unit that can be networked. You would need the ethernet hub and 2 cables of whatever lengths you see fit. The hub needs its own power supply.

I do the best i can with what ive got. I tore the trapezoid and rhomboid muscles off my left shoulder as well as other damage. Had 3 surgeries. Prior to surgery number 3, i couldn't fish more than 2 hours without being in excruciating pain, and it took 2 days to recover from the pain. I can fish all day now and it only takes a day to recover. I've taken to multi species fishing rather than just bass and no longer fish tournaments.

You need to fish the walls and piers in the harbors. You won't get anything in open water from shore. If you had a boat, there are shoals and a couple artificial reefs.

Theres a deep hole under the overpass on the west side of the river. If i recall its 9-12ft deep Make sure you're getting the bait down.

A number of years ago I towed my 17ft Mirrocraft down to Santee Cooper in late March. While fishing we motored upon some monster gators that were sunning themselves on the bank. We spooked them and into the water they went causing my little boat to rock back and forth something fierce. It was the first time I had ever fished near gators, and I quickly learned to respect them. I ran into gators on Lake Toho as well, but they were already in the water, I assume, guarding their nesting area. I didn't even bother getting close to them.

I was rereading this tread. I don't think gators will be a problem for the OP in NY. Secondly, and more importantly, is the boats you mentioned are not cookie cutter tins like most. You wouldn't be jumping levees in a Vexus just as I don't in a Lund. I would, however in a SeaArk, possibly in a Xpress and I know nothing about Alweld except you run one. Were I jumping gators for a living, I would probably opt for a custom build. The cookie cutter welded tins are all similar, brand to brand. When it comes to the Great Lakes, the majority of the guys who run aluminum are running riveted hulls.

That would tick me off. I don't have that issue. I fish highly pressured lakes where everybody knows all the spots. It's more or less who gets there first and who has the lucky bait tied on. I do however have my super secret monster panfish lake that I don't tell anyone about. If the bucketheads ever found out about it, it would get decimated.

Very nice!! If you go with Minn Kota, don't buy until after the first of the year. They normally run rebates from Jan-May, and the rebates are usually 1 pound of thrust =$1 back. So if you go with a 112lb thrust, you get $112 back.. I'm done for the year. Caught enough crappie last week to last until spring. Did the last bass trip today and caught the skunk. Pond fishing is going to be different from lake fishing which will be different from river fishing. Deep is a relative term. Find the forage. The fish will be near.
