  1. Not all of us want to be found A knife is an invaluable tool on the water and everyone should carry one at their side.
  2. Acceptable to who? If the boat meets the requirements of the trail, who cares.
  3. Yes he did. I know he filmed a show here in Chicago
  4. Still too early to judge the Bears. Best thing they have going for them right now is the lackluster performances from the rest or the division.
  5. Center weight distribution is used by Lund which contributes to their ride quality. Fuel tank, remote oil fill and batteries are all placed parallel with the keel.
  6. Or a paint store ?
  7. Figured he had a better chance surviving in fresh water than bathtub gin
  8. Nitro was the CDC model. Allison made/makes one or 2 different models. GatorTrax makes one
  9. Link has follow the contour when using the Lakemaster card. My favorite part of having link is the ability to mark waypoints while idling around and then having the trolling motor return me to the waypoint and anchor. Lakemaster cards have some real nice features that go hand in hand with Humminbird that you cannot get with Navionics. Contour shading, and depth offsets come in real handy. Standard Ipilot only allows you to follow routes you have created. You can follow the routes in both directions. I don't know about the newest version but you could only save 6 routes and only so many waypoints. With link, you can save thousands because they are being saved to the graph rather than the Ipilot head unit.
  10. Single splitshot about a 18" above long shank hook dragged along weed edges just above the bottom.
  11. What are your expectations of Ipilot? This will determine if you need Link or not.
  12. I think the only solution is to start reviewing the fouls

Whoever thought this was a good idea....and whoever thinks this would be cool to own.... https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/someone-potentially-get-shot-police-warn-people-buying-gun-shaped-phone-case-212423663.html
  14. Unfortunately the guy who ran universalmania went to jail and they are no longer in business. Another vote for BBG
  15. I only purchased them one time immediately after they hit the market. Didn't like them and never purchased another. Sounds like they've made changes over the years.
  16. Have they changed since they were first introduced? It was like trying to stick a hook thru a tire.
  17. Kalins Sizmic Shad
  18. Prescription Wiley's in smoke grey.
  19. http://www.bigeyeleather.ca/ Personally, I don't like to keep cash in a wallet. I carry cash in a money clip in my front pocket, and wallet with ID's and a couple credit cards in my back pocket. When I was a kid, I was grilled by my grandpa that pick pockets can't get your cash if it's in your front pocket. My dad always carries money in his front pocket and when he worked in Chicago, prior to retiring, always wrapped 2 wide rubberbands around his wallet because the rubber adds friction which would help him notice if someone was trying to lift it.
  20. I have a wallet made of walleye leather. I've had it since this past Christmas and it's holding up very well.
  21. If the Du Page fishes anything like the Fox, hellgrammite baits should do you wonders. Generally, greens and browns are my goto colors on the river itself for smallies. Largemouth will hit white on the Fox presumably because of the shad population. I'm ignorant to the bait forage in the Du Page.
  22. I have caught more big bass on PB&J Mop jigs than any other and always have one tied on.
  23. Mine is going strong. Loaded with Ranger, Tracker, Alumacraft, and Nitro boats. Huge hunting section and the firearm section has expanded. Never had a trout pond but the tank is rocking with big healthy fish.
  24. You can order a boat from Lund without a motor and have your dealer of choice install your motor and forward controls of choice
  25. Deaknh is real good with his hands. Just ask him?
