  1. You might have to pay a "use" tax. I believe if the sales tax in your state is higher than the state the boat is purchased in, you pay the difference to the state you live in.
  2. So, you're saying, once you go Baccarac, you never go back?
  3. Had this discussion with my son on the boat right after I caught her. Yesterday the walleye, and last week a big pike flipping docks. 2 fish species known for colder water, and of above average size, hanging out in the shallows. Yet I struggle to find keeper bass here during the dog days of summer.
  4. God Grant me the serenity To accept the things I cannot change The courage to change the things I can The wisdom to know the difference You will never ever be able to change the behaviors of other folks. You can, however, take steps to make improvements in your situation. My home water is the busiest freshwater inland waterway per acre, in the United States. I have a 20' boat with a 225hp on the back. During the summer, I fish from 5am until 11am, just about the time the pleasure boaters erupt from their cocoons. My advice to you is, alter your habits and/or change bodies of water.
  5. Got my PB walleye on the Fox Chain today
  6. Caught her on a jerkbait in 3ft of 80* water. Measures 27". Going to look good on my trophy wall.
  7. If I recall correctly, the 1750 with a 115 was $29k at this years boat show
  8. You know you're going to eat those words in a few short months...
  9. Reminds me of a thread about how to get in touch with J Francho.....
  10. I ordered and installed the next size up. They have worked out just fine
  11. Google fishing rod caddy. Lots of portable devices you could probably permanently/semi-permanently mount to your boat that would do the trick.
  12. When I was young, we would "borrow" them from the grocery store loading dock.
  13. I own a 20ft Lund. I've crawled thru the Ranger deep v's and the Lund bass line. There is no comparison, Lund wins hands down. To answer your warranty concerns with Lund. Research your dealer. They will be your point of contact with Lunds warranty department.
  14. @Further North has a CMV, he would ne your best resource
  15. Minn Kota Terrova or Ultrex. Hand or foot controlled
  16. What's with all the old threads being reopened?
  17. Threadserts also called rivet nuts
  18. I have a 20ft 2in boat 93in beam with a 225 Optimax. It covered hull and motor. It came with all sorts of tie down straps of different lengths. I used the trailer frame to tie it to. There is a elastic band sewn into the perimeter edge so it will hug the sides of the hull. There is plenty of room to build a structure. I used 2 inch pvc to hold the cover up so rain would roll off. Its pretty heavy duty.
  19. I already fish a jig at least 70% of the time, so fishing it 100% of the time is not so far fetched.
  20. The owner can't track down the proof of purchase? Does he know where he stole...bought it from?
