Figure out your budget. Then figure out what features you want that are within that budget. Then, head over to Bass Pro or another big box store and play around with the graphs. Some are more user friendly than others.

Wiley progressive's with no discount were 4 bills. Unfortunately my Pearl Vision was not an authorized Wiley dealer. If they were, the lenses would have been discounted since I had just renewed my script.

My vision sucks, both distance and close up. I used to switch back and forth between my Wileys and my regular glasses for tying knots. Then I needed reading glasses to tie knots. 2 months ago I contacted Wiley to see if they could put prescription lenses in my frames. Yep, but I had to go thru an authorized Wiley dealer. I went to a local authorized Wiley optometrist and had them take care of the logistics. Went back a week later and I had new frames and lenses. Wiley didn't want me to be without glasses so they sent new frames with the prescription lenses at no extra charge and "warrantied" my 8 year old frames. Awesome customer service!

Yep, Unfortunately I'm not versed enough in proper deck management....I said deck management to have a ton of rods on deck. Once I have more rods than I can manage on deck, I can just put the ones I'm not using back in the tubes and get back to fishing. I can see all the combo's clearly to grab what I want. Seems to tedious to find the rod sock, put it on the rod and then put the rod back into the storage, and then have to shuffle thru other rods to grab the next.

Yep was there Sunday and again yesterday. Sunday we got 5 bass in the first hour. A 3 pounder and 4 shorts and not another bite for 6 hours. Yesterday got to the ramp at 9:30 and fished til 2:30. I caught a real healthy 15 incher around noon. The one in the pic at 1:00 and my son got a dink right before we left. I think we only has 2 or 3 other bites each that we didn't connect with. Action should pick up after this week. Supposed to get warm

Truck is fixed and amazingly enough, State Farm has been unable to get in touch with this guy.

First biggun of the year. Not sure if it's a big male or spawned out female. Tail was all bloody. I'd put it at 4.5lbs. Caught it up shallow in 58* water on a blue Rage Craw. Fishing was slow otherwise.

Fun to catch. Hell on bass lures. You know what i find funny is our local musky fisherman complain about all the bass they catch

Knock on wood, winter in Chicago is over. Got out to do a little bass fishing today. Water is 48* The annual pelican "gorging on fish sessions" are still going on. Saw nesting geese and actually one set of hatchlings. Grass is still brown and trees are still bare.

Is it worth it? What are you trying to accomplish? If 2 hands on the wheel is important to you, it is worth it. If driving at high speed is important to you, it is worth it. Otherwise, it's probably not worth it. As far as the install goes, the pedal itself only requires 4 screws to the deck. You will need to buy a longer throttle cable. Get the #'s off the one that came with the boat and figure out the length. Then you will need to measure from the forward controls to where ever the pedal is going to mount. Add that # to the length of the current cable and figure out what length you need to order. Once you disconnect the throttle cable from the motor, do not remove it completely. curl it up and stick it in the gunwale behind one of the panels. That way if one day you decide you no longer want the hot foot, it will be easier to reattach the original cable. Run the new throttle cable making sure there are no obstructions or sharp turns in the routing, and make your connections. Lastly, ideally you would add blinker trim. You need to pull the steering wheel, and may or may not have to make modifications for the blinker trim to fit.

Fox Chain this morning. Water temp 48* Water is at summer pool already. 5 bass in 6 hours. (1) 3 pounder and 4 dinks. The 3 pounder was the first fish of the day. Caught him on cast# 3 and thought "This is gonna be a good day".....not

Guy laid down his motorcycle into the side of my truck at 7:30 this morning. No one hurt. No motorcycle cert on his DL and no insurance. He was enrolled in riding classes and practicing to take his driving test. I was sitting at an intersection in the left lane with my signal on waiting for him to pass. He decided to turn right and lost control of it. Cop gave him 2 tickets. Maybe God was telling him something. I'm not a happy camper since I have to claim this and pay the $500 deductible.
