  2. Next time heat up a pin or needle or small nail until it glows red. It will burn right thru the fingernail and relieve the pressure.
  3. I was perch fishing this past this past Saturday and pulled 2 bass out of the school of perch. One was a small keeper and one almost 4lbs. Bait was a grub in "bleeding Tennesee shad" which just so happened to resemble a bleeding perch.
  4. It's a drawn out story, but the injury happened in 2012 and I had this surgery in 2015 after 2 other arthroscopic surgeries in the shoulder joint. I'm still far from "better" but went from about 30% range of motion in the shoulder joint and loss of dexterity in my left hand to about 70% range of motion and only a slight dexterity loss. Still suffer from daily pain but it's no longer constant. The doc drilled a bunch of holes in my shoulder blade and attached the muscles with sutures. I can feel the muscles pull against the sutures when I'm at the end of my "safe" range. If I ever tore them off again, which is a possibility if I don't pay attention to my limits, I think I'd put a bullet in my head rather than go thru the surgery and recovery again.
  5. Gotcha, You just felt like letting everyone know a 20% discount is a mere pittance when it comes to purchasing your fishing gear.
  6. Max on trailer tires is ideal
  7. So don't buy it. It was originally $199 when it was a current model and the current Gen 4's are $199
  8. The recovery from having my rhomboid and trapezoid muscles reattached to my shoulder blade. I would not wish it on my worst enemy
  9. BPS has them on sale for a buck twentynine https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/abu-garcia-revo-stx-baitcast-reel?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions
  10. No experience but, look up Sharkhide. Supposed to be the bees knees in tin protection
  11. Met my dad at my super secret panfish lake this morning to see if we could find some crappies. It was 40* and rainy. Same as it's been every day for the last 3 days. Sat in the truck for an hour and a half waiting for the rain to subside while catching up with my dad. He's all psyched about his trip to Alaska at the end of June and was going over all the fishing he intends on doing. He's trying to figure out something for my mother to do so he can book a 3 day charter. Think he said one day halibut and cod, one day king salmon, and one day grayling and another species I don't recall. So, at 8:15 we put on the rain gear and headed out. Fishing was disappointing to say the least. The rain finally stopped around 10am. First fish was a small bass who swiped at a jerkbait and hooked himself in the belly. Found some perch and bluegills but no size to any of them. Then, got a 13" crappie on that same jerkbait. Went an hour or so without a bite. Started getting some real small bites. Dad was using minnows and I had a Kalins Crappie Scrub on a 1/16 jighead. Said "I bet they are small perch." I hook into and lose a small keeper bass and not 5 minutes later lose one that probably went 4lbs. Line broke on both. So much for using surplus 4lb Mr Crappie line that I have in the garage. Switched over to my other ultralite rod that has fresh 6lb mono using the same crappie scrub. In the mean time dad confirmed my assumptions about the small perch. The bass were eating the perch and it just so happened the plastics were perch colored(bleeding Tennessee shad looks like perch). Ended up catching 4 more mediocre bass and a small musky, all on the jig and plastic. Dad was cold and we headed in around 2.

I have a couple different small .380's. Multiple people on another forum suggested a snub nose 38. My thought was using it only in the truck calibered in 410 for a close quarter situation.

Wouldnt be for daily carry. Looking to just use it as a "truck gun" just in case.

Because of all the new found knowledge I obtained from this thread, I decided to try it out. Went to the dunkin donuts drive thru this morning. Paid the young lady with 240 loose pennies. The look on her face was priceless. Thanks all!!!

We're in the same boat. It's extremely easy to spend money you never see.

This is what's wrong with the world. No offense to you, but technology makes it easy to spend money also makes it easy to tick away money.

Any reason I shouldn't get a Bond Arms derringer calibered in 45/410?
  20. Congrats Brian. Would have been a much sweeter pic if you were wearing your fuzzy pink hat. Haven't seen you fish with Maina or Gillespie in awhile. Planning on anymore shows?
  21. Prices fluctuate less on premium brands and most dealers don't inventory heavy.
  22. Fished a tourney on the Chain today. Weighed in 5 bass for 11lbs which was good enough for 9th place. On a positive note, first place weighed in 17.5lbs not too shabby for a mudhole. Water temps are 70*

I stop at the grocery store on my way home from work. The bill is $39 and change. I give the cashier a 20, a 10, and a roll of quarters. "I don't think we can accept a roll of quarters as payment" "If you want, I can remove them from the roll and you can count them all" "Yes, I think that would be best"
