Not yet. I've got the Terrova iPilot US/2 and and 858 HD on the bow. A 998 SI on the console. The iPilot Link along with the HB 6.61 software is needed for the units to work with each other. There are some issues which seem hit or miss with the software upgrade. I've read the units that are working properly are nothing short of awesome. I'm interested in the upgrade simply because it offers one the feature of loading maps and being able to follow a depth contour. So I can keep the boat in let's say 10fow and just let it run.

Caught my first jika rig fish(plural) yesterday. Had a 100% hookup ratio. Every fish was hooked good in the roof of their mouth and weren't getting off. My question is about hook/bait size. I have a 6/0 gammy ewg which was the smallest I could find that had a big enough eyelet for the split ring to fit thru. Bait of choice was a Havoc Pit Boss which has been working very well on my home lake for a couple years now. The Pit boss is a hair too small for a 6/0 which makes rigging and keeping it in place difficult. Does anyone know who may make a 4/0 with a big enough eyelet for a split ring?

It's like Chevy vs Ford. I got the HB units because, for me, they are user friendly. The Touch units are nice, I played around with one at Cabelas, and couldn't help of thinking how many times during the day I'd have to clean the screen. 4k won't give you much leeway on the Touch units since the big unit retails for over 3k

I feel your pain homie It's like I'm looking in the mirror. Sucks what we put ourselves thru to make a decent buck. I take Advil along with some other vitamins and supplements which seems to keep the "regular" pain at bay. I've got oxycodone from my surgery which kept me sound asleep after they cut me open, and hydrocodone from the pain management doc which was prescribed before my epideral because they wanted me off the Advil. They're sitting in the cabinet. It's easy to see how people can get addicted. For me, whiskey is the best pain killer there is, so I quit. Using for a crutch once in awhile is one thing. Using to live is another. Fortunately, only my ex wife was affected by addiction. It ruined our marriage but life goes on. Went fishing with my son yesterday and I was good for about 2 1/2 hours before the pain started and by 12:30 he was fishing and I was sitting. I've got an appointment on the 21'st to check for nerve damage

Sam, Back around 1992-93 I had a drunk attempt to drive thru my house. Had he succeeded the car would have ended up in bed with my ex wife and I. It was a Sunday morning around 6:00. We are woke up by what sounds like a bomb, and my house shaking. I jump out of bed and look out the window and no more than 2ft below me is a Chevy Cavalier and a pile of bricks. I recognized the guy in the passenger seat at the homeless guy who slept in the hallway of the apartment building I lived in prior to buying the house. My son who was 2 or 3 at the time was screaming bloody murder as my self and the wife ran outside. This guy backs up and drives away, radiator smoking, down the sidewalk hitting no less than 2 cars before getting back on the road. The front bumper with license plate is in the pile of bricks. Cops show up and after running the plate knew exactly who the guy was. A repeat offender and apparently a troublemaker. They found him slumped over the steering wheel in front of his apartment, passed out drunk. No drivers license, no insurance, and possibly an illegal alien. He never shows to court, probably back in Mexico. My homeowners insurance covered it to the tune of 40k. I lived on a corner lot in a raised ranch. He fit between my car and a 30ft pine in the front yard. The only reason he didn't kill us is the ground outside sat about 2ft below the floor or the house and most of the damage was to the wall of the basement. Had the ground been level with the floor, I would not be writing this and my son would have grown up without parents. Funny how things work. Best of luck.

Most were caught on a Havoc Pit Boss. My son got a few on a chatterbait and I think a t-rigged jellyworm. Couldn't buy a bite on jigs, swimjigs, or senkos

Most of the fish we caught were off timber or rocks. I don't think there were any dock fish. The one in my left hand was 3lb and the biggest of the day. Lots of small males. A few bloodied from fanning beds. With temps in the 70's from Monday on, spawn should be in full swing.

I raised my stepdaughter since she was 6, she's now 24. Couple things I did that I think have worked since she has never come home pregnant, is stressed to her that all guys want is sex, and picked apart every guy she has dated, finding their flaws, and reminding her of those flaws on a daily basis. I also reminded her on a daily basis that if she came home pregnant I'd kill her(joking of course).

Maybe in a jetboat but not a chance in hell in my baby. I've run some mud before but that's it. On a side note, which somewhat relates to this topic, A fellow Anglers Choice club member lost his life yesterday on KY Lake while competing in the Tournament of Champions. The boater was letting the non boater drive the rig for whatever reason. He didn't follow posted signs and ran into an underwater bridge piling. The boat stopped but the motor didn't. It flew into the boat and killed the boater. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!!!

Buy a soft measuring tape that a tailor or seamstress would use. Wally world sells them as well as any fabric shop. You can measure length and girth. Google "fish weight calculator" enter your numbers and the species and it will give you a rough estimate

1. Yes 2. If you are fishing tournaments to become a better angler, that is an easy way to go broke BUT IMO unless one is naturally gifted, competing against others that are superior to you will, in most cases, make you a better angler.
