Making a career in sports, whether its fishing or football or basketball etc is reserved for a select few. You all need something to fall back on when you have a bad season or two and don't have someone else paying your way. If you've been paying attention to these threads, big name companies are dropping seasoned tourney fisherman. No one is telling you not to follow a dream, but your odds of being a KVD or Ike is about as much as winning the lottery

I've said this before.If lithium boat batteries work anything like lithium tool batteries, those people who fish early and late season will have issues when it's cold outside. Once the air temp drops below 30 or so, the batteries performance is short lived.

Funny you bring that up. While at the boat dealer talking with the owner and listening to her tell me it's a stupid idea I said to her "You don't want to marry me. It's my money and I'll spend it how I want." Mind you we've been together 18 years. When I picked up the boat, I went alone and the owner brought up my that conversation.from earlier in the week. Apparently in all his years in business, I was the first person he's seen, who ever said that to his woman. Right or wrong, it's my money. Her issue is me fishing on Lake Michigan. She knows I'll be out there more often now that I have a bigger boat. She's just a little paranoid l'lI head out fishing one day and won't come back. Part of that is my fault. I pay attention to all the boating/fishing accidents on the waters I fish and tell her about them. There are more fatalities on my home lake, caused by intoxicated boaters, than on the Chicago lakefront caused by the weather. Her perception of the risk is skewed by the vastness of Lake Michigan.

2 amp is a "maintenance" charge. You're going to want to use the 10 or 15 amp settings to charge it up. Personaly, I've never had a battery get a "memory"

Never fails. Everytime I'm at the range, everyone stops what their doing when I start firing, to come over and see what the hell I have. There are alot of ranges that won't let me fire it because of it's power.
