I Did A Baaaaaaaad Thing!!!(Pics Added)
It will see plenty of time on Sturgeon Bay. My folks have a summer home in Sister Bay. I have never been to Little or Big Bay De Noc and I haven't heard much about the smallie fishing. I hear the walleye fishing is second to none.

I Did A Baaaaaaaad Thing!!!(Pics Added)
I have a 998c SI going on the console and just ordered an 858c HD for the bow. Decided to sell the 798 with the old boat. Once I get my old boat sold, I'd like to put on a Talon or Power Pole. I think that's a Fortrex in the video. The one I got has a Terrova 60" shaft that, I believe, can be adjusted similar to the V2 with a locking collar to run in shallow water. If not, I'm screwed.

It's not a traditional deep v, It will serve me better than a bass boat on Lake Michigan.

I Did A Baaaaaaaad Thing!!!(Pics Added)
They start at 35k with a 150 Merc. With the 225 ProXS, custom trailer, 80lb Terrova iPilot and a bunch of options/upgrades, no electronics, freight and dealer prep for 45k. I shopped around. I got quotes for less equipped boats for over 50k.

What Do You Do For A Living?
Jeff, I'm still off work from my surgery last Oct. I should be returning soon. Will be kind of difficult to get vacation time after being off almost 6 months.

Thermostat Setting
Your mom is old school. Keep it where it is comfortable. There are alot of different factors that play into the house being comfortable. Good vs crappy windows, carpet vs wood floors, basement vs slab, humidity levels in the house and so on. I am in the hvac trade and new windows will do amazing things for a house being comfortable.

Leader Or No Leader
There are good and bad for both arguements. I used to use a flouro leader on braid. I don't any more. I would rather retie periodicaly than chance losing a fish. I carry numerous setups on my boat and can switch from braid to flouro depending on water clarity.

Cold Front Passed Today. Fish Tomorrow Yes Or No?
44 and rainy today. 22 and snow tomorrow. I haven't been on the water since last October and I'm counting the days for soft water to return. I'd hit it.

Brand Loyalty
I think, the higher the pricepoint, the more difficult it is to switch brands unless you've gone thru a fairly negative experience. I believe most people don't like disappointment (although I know some people who feed on the negative). As far as gear is concerned, my elder family members got me started on Abu in the 70's. I can't say I have ever had an Abu reel fail. and have been using various models for 40 years. I still have some old round reels which I use periodicaly. I have grown to like Fenwick rods over the past 5 years or so. Prior to that, I bought what I could afford. As far as trucks, I know what brand of truck(s) I would never consider buying because of too many negative experiences in the past. I(we) like trying new restaurants. If I have a bad meal, I won't give the restaurant a second chance. On the same token I(we) also tend to order the same meals from restaurants we have had good experiences at, for fear of disappointment when trying something new. Now, If I'm not paying for the food or the gear or whatever, I am more likely to try something different, because now, I have nothing to lose. The evil you know may be better than the evil you don't know.

Not too shabby- Making A Club
I guess you would first need to figure out what you want to accomplish with the club. Is it going to be a group of guys meeting periodicly to discuss bass fishing and partner up for outings.. Will there be tournaments involved? Does your high school have any interest in fishing teams. It's starting to become popular.- Raider What You Think? Think He Can Do It?

What did you do to your avatar? Looks like it was taken back in Rhino's teen age days LOL- Reliability Of Tw?
Maybe I'm fortunate I have a Cabelas and 2 BPS' within a 45 minute drive from me. I'd never buy a rod without feeling the action first. To find a broken rod when opening the shipping tube would upset me.- Reliability Of Tw?
Just went thru the price guarantee with them this week. I ordered a reel from them(among other things). On a fluke, I was on Ardents website a couple days later and found the reel on sale $60 cheaper. Placed a call, they verified pricing, and although they didn't give me a refund, they emailed me an electronic gift card for the difference. - St Croix Ice Fishing Rods
