Congrats on the P95. Was also my first handgun, my favorite one to shoot and it sits at my bedside.The gun has never jammed once and is relatively easy to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning. It's loaded with Hornady hollow points. I shoot Federal at the range because I got a helluva deal.

As far as presentation, If i am pretty sure the spot has fish, it could be as much as a few casts. I normally have 5-7 rods on deck to mess around with. If I am not sure, I will fish the same bait longer and this would be my confidence bait. A jig or worm. As far as switching spots, It depends if I'm fun fishing or tourney fishing. Fun fishing, it won't matter much. Tourney fishing, I have hopefuly eliminated non productive water while prefishing, and that's what I guage the amount of time on a spot.

Put things where they needed to be and removed the scar tissue from my previous surgery. Having a difficult time sleeping.Finaly fell asleep shortly after midnight and it's now 3:30 am. Oh joy. Bassn Blvd. If they did anything while I was asleep, thank God I was asleep. Not a very attrictive bunch.

I've been running mineral and semi senthitic in my 05 Merc since new. So far so good. I'm not brand loyal. As long as the oil is marine rated, I don't think it makes a difference. Seafoam in every few tanks and Stabil for any extended storage.

I only hit the bait shop when I fish with my father. He's not a bass fisherman and prefers live bait. There are 2 shops we go to depending on where I launch. One guy is disabled from diabetes and couldn't be a nicer guy.His shop burnt down a few years ago and, after a couple years, he had it rebuilt. This guy will talk about fishing all day with you if you let him. It's like he is living vicariously thru his customers. He gives a real good minnow count too. The other shop the guy is friendly but waayyy overpriced. Minnow count not so good.

Going under the knife in a few hours. If things go well, you'll be seeing alot more of me over the next 6 months. If not, it's been a slice. Don't know which will be worse for you guys. LOL

Should be fine. If you tend to fish in the wind alot might be a little underpowered. Still better than what you have.

There's a ton of them. My advice to you when looking to purchase a handgun is to find one that is comfortable in your hands. There are different guns for different purposes. Target, CC, home protection, competition etc. Ammunition varies as well. You can get 22 rounds for next to nothing. The .454 casull rounds for my Ruger are 2 bucks a piece on sale. Are you allowed to buy a handgun in Michigan at 19? In IL it's 18 for a long gun and 21 for a hand gun.

It's designed for spinning gear and they don't recommend it on baitcasters because it will cut into itself. As far as castability, d**n that stuff casts a country mile. I originally bought it in hopes it would last longer around zebra mussels but I was disappointed. The fact that it floats s another thing which makes is limited with presentation. You also need to tie a different knot or it will slip.

The transducer has a breakaway mount. It would pop up while running in rough water, and I'd lean over the transom to pop it back in. Got frustrated so I screwed it down and the mount broke. 10 bucks for the new mount and 10 bucks shipping. I was also getting some interference on the port side. I relocated the transducer approx 1 1/2" above where it was located. It no longer pops up and the interference is all but gone. There are pretty explicit instructions on installation of the finder and the transducer. If you are somewhat handy there is no reason you couldn't do it yourself. What kind of boat?

It's a 5" display. I have a deep v and the finder is mounted behind the windshield. I couldn't go any larger without installing a ram mount on the side of the console. The 898 has a 7" display, 998 has an 8" display and the 1198 a 10.4" display. I recently remounted the transducer and couldn't be happier with the results. Key to getting good readings is proper transducer placement. Thanks for the advice Wayne P. The unit is pretty user friendly. Do you have a big box store you can go to, to look at the units? I'd recommend purchasing the unit online, you can probably get a better price.

Glenn, Ddid the rotator cuff surgery 3 years ago. Same doc cutting me open on Tuesday. Did you get cut open or just hoping for the best?

I've got the SI combo on the console and next time I'd opt for a larger screen. FYI the SI combo also has DI.

Always nice when they scream obscinities at you for not helping. Had one guy come up to me and ask for help. I said "No". He said "I figured you'd say that" To which I responded "Is it beacuse I'm white? Why did you ask me" He came at me and I pulled a pipe wrench on him. Was doing another piping job and had a guy attempt to steal the copper pipe right out of my hand.

While attempting to pry a size six shoe on a beast of a woman I threw out my shoulder

Got hurt at work in July. Jacked up my shoulder and sliced open my finger. 3 stitches in the finger took care of that issue. Got a MRI, says possible tear in my shoulder cartilidge. Did therapy for 7 weeks. Got full range of motion after 5 weeks but the ball of my shoulder won't stay in the socket. Shoulder itself doesn't hurt. Everytime I move it, it puls the muscles in my back and neck out of whack. Oh Joy!

I spooled up last year on 1 rig. Just pulled it off and replaced it with flouro. Wasn't was what I was expecting.
