Hopefully they caught it soon enough. Prayers sent

Will do.

One of the sweetest ladies in our Church battled breast cancer a few years ago. She kept a positive attitude and won the fight! When she learned that she would most likely lose her breasts, she smiled and said, "Well, now I can get the set I've always wanted!"

I hope your sister beats this thing with the same great attitude!

I'll tie a pink ribbon on my boat with her name on it for her, what's her name?, i.e. Pam H.

Please keep us informed on how she is doing.

That has to be the nicest gesture I've seen on here, thank you Traveler2586...her name is Laura B

As a cancer surviver myself please tell Laura for me;

Don't give into her fears

Stay positive

Believe in herself

Stay active

Be happy with life

She can come through this.

My great aunt is a breast cancer survivor. She says her ability to stay positive and having her family there with her the whole way made all the difference. Your sister can beat it too. My thoughts and prayers for her and your family.

You Bet'cha.

Any update on your sister?

She'll have surgery next week @ Dana Faber Cancer Center in Boston followed by radiation treatments for 6 weeks, every day. She's been very upbeat about the whole thing which is good.

retiredbosn, thank you so much for posting/caring.

My sister finally had her surgery today and all went well. She is in very good spirits and resting. She'll start radiation soon and hopefully all will go well.

Thanks again all for your support, I'm very appreciative.
