  1. I was talking about Chicago not IL and I typed in hispanic rather than mexican because there are filters on a local site that won't allow you to write mexican. Please forgive me Nuthin' wrong with a cook off
  2. ive been through chi town , it does have its share of hispanics , but so does south florida lol. chicago does have consistantly better mexican food though. you must have not been to the better restaurants if youve been down here. denny's doesnt count ;D. Seafood is good in FL. We don't have much of a cuban population here but I hear their food is good. I'll be honest I had never heard of mojo until a couple of years ago. A mexican guy I work with turned me on to it. They use it to assist in tenderizing the skirt steak or flank steak they use in everything they cook. We're very fortunate in Chicago to have so many different ethnicities that the variety of food is endless. I'm not only talking about the "finer"restaurants. Many of the small neighborhood joints are where the good food is at.
  3. Chicago is up north and has the 2nd largest hispanic population outside of Los Angeles. We know what mojo is. Love the mojo. Goya makes a few different flavors. I use picante on my chicken and criollo for grilled shrimp. I second you should get a charcoal grill and when you figure that out a smoker is next. Youse guys from Florida have no idea what good food is.
  4. I'd get me one of these http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/article/110999/the-new-bugatti-waiting-for-superman-no-more?mod=family-autos
  5. I have a 17ft Mirrocraft deep v that I tourney fish out of. Less storage than 'glass, less deck space than 'glass which makes flipping/pitching a little more difficult, blows around alot in the wind. I don't have to worry about beaching the boat and can run shallower than a heavier 'glass boat. still catches fish and cashes checks. I've been fishing tourneys for 5 or 6 years and this boat is not really made for that, BUT I can make a day with the kids, pull a tube, and not have to worry about the kids falling out. A musky/walleye boat may also be a consideration.

  7. Why of course it was these guys
  8. The 9 looks like a cross between a Springfield and a Ruger. How many rounds in the mag? Have you fired it? How does it feel?

I do fairly well in the spring . The walleye tend to hit flukes and spinnerbaits as well as cranks. Got this gal on a blacknblue jignpig under a dock. I was ticked. Thought I had a big bass.
  10. I heard this from a guy I used to work with 20 years ago and it stuck. When someone says "Have a nice day...weekend...afternoon...etc" my reply is ...and you have a better one. Or...and you do the same.
  11. "LETS GET READY TO...Buh bye"
  12. All your fault fourbizz. Your his biggest fan
  13. To be a working/fishing owner of a fishing resort within the next 5 years. And a new boat would be nice. My last payment on my 17' tin boat is in January. I outgrew it after the first season on the water. d**n boatmonkey has been on my back. I have stacks of literature from all the major 'glass mfgs. If I give in to the new boat, it will be that much harder to reach my #1 goal. Decisions, decisions
  14. Metallica open for Ozzy Ride the Lightning/Bark at the Moon respectively Bostons come back tour around '86 or '87 Neil Young before he became whiney Eagles and if any of you guys like blues go see Buddy Guy live. You won't be disappointed.
  15. Is it possible you have just entered another dimension?
  16. It's right unless you have a 3way switch.(switch that works in conjuction with another 3way switch to turn the fixtures on and off from more than 1 entranceway to the room) I imagine your sons room has only one entrance, but just checking. Nate, Sounds like you have a 3way switch or a double pole switch which is used mostly in commercial applications. I've never seen it used for residential but people do wierd things.
  17. Why the extra $.07? I might pay $107.00 but $107.07, that's highway robbery!
  18. Nate, When consolidating school loans is there a "special" place to apply for the loans or is it an unsecured loan that can be got from any bank. He has 1 1/2 maybe 2 years left.
  19. Her blue eyes got the best of me. I signed. FYI deferrment doesn't matter. The loan shows up as a debt on hers and my credit reports. It does affect debt to income ratios. Good thing is I have all access to the account information and I can make sure the payments are being made on time etc. Also salliemae has a cosigner forgiveness clause. If payments are made on time for 2 years and her credit rating is good, I'm off the hook. I also promised to break her legs if I get stuck with it
  20. If you can afford a 5hp, get a 5hp. Nissan/Tohatsu makes a decent small motor. 4stroke would probably be a good choice.
  21. Just tuck your beaver back up under your skirt and be a man.
  22. flechero, I don't expect an apology from you. Make your own judgement. I am going thru enough torment inside my mind that your "guilt trip" has no affect. My original post was about the affects to my credit rating. Nothing more, nothing less.
