Can't beat a lightning rod, Either dobyns champion or champion extreme. If I'm looking for anything else it's a lighting rod. No middle of the road in my eyes. 53 bucks I just paid for one and they are sweet and sensitive

I'm over braid. Except spinning gear. I only have it on a flipping rod that won't see water till summer when weeds thicken up. I don't like it anymore. my jig fishing is done on 20lb seagaur. It's Supierior to braid in my book. I've never had a fish break me off on 20 lb Fluoro In nasty thick junk. I see no need for the hassle of braid. And besides when I get snagged in someone else's old 900 lb test braid stuck all over every lake I go to now makes me mad.

Fluoro for everything but topwaters, more sensitive and better abrasion resistance. People are always saying the knots are weak. You have to wet you line when you clinch. And don't rip on your spool when you get backlash.

They seem strong, hook keeper seems good haven't used them yet, but hit them with file and seem good. For 1.50 can't beat them I guess.

Bought the 3/0 and 4/0 hooks, took one out today see how sharp. DULL. Nothing like my mustad Denny or owner jungle. Anyone else disappointed ?

A lake i fish has some great ledges along spawning flats, 17' up to about 4-8' depending. i know its a long way away, but im wondering if when bass are eating jerkbaits, will dds work on them as well if worked properly?
