Any Berkley mono, suffix siege and elite have never given me any problems. I've caught 30"+ snook on #14 suffix siege

I like 7'6 mh rod for lipless, 7 mh for square bill, glass crankbaits rods for both

I've landed some big hybrids on #2 owners mosquito hooks, never had a problem with them bending, match your line to hook and you will be fine

Title says it all, what rods are you guys using or recommend for these light baits? I have a 7' m crucial cb, but I wasn't having good luck, not sure what reel I had at the time, but looking at dobyns 704 glass with tatula or lews. help

I find myself using Gamakatsu, owner, mustad. Depending on which ones are in stock, I'm not a fan of vmc hooks, only ones I don't buy

Lol yea I know they are in rough shape, but can't be buying pants when I need more tackle And I got the bait out fairly easy somehow without pliers, not too bad when the mouth is big, they all lived to see another day!

I think they are good, like all Lc cranks the hooks are junk
