Spinner Baits.
I would try either changing to a different color spinnerbait or a weightless white super fluke.

Help Me Purchase My Next Rod
For worms and most other soft plastics, a 6'6" or 7' medium spinning rod would be better. But if you want a good all around BC, I would suggest a 6'6" medium action rod would be best. As for line, I suggest 12lb test Suffix Elite. I use it on all my BCs. Suffix Elite is very limp due to it's special winding process and I think it makes a great difference. Best line I have ever used. If you want more information, read Glenn's post in this thread here

How Are You Dealing With The Fuel Price's!
Ya, thats why we should use hemp more. If we did though, oil companies would lose BIG TIME. Hemp can be used for food, plastic, rope, fuel, fabric, and can also purify water! very useful material. I just wonder why it's not used

Don't Let Cheap Tackle Let You Down
I've NEVER had any hooks bent on me. Although I dont ever buy cheap tackle, i have bought walmart spinners and buzzers and thats it. The buzzbaits are actually pretty good once you modify them. The spinnerbaits are well, not so good, bad swivels.

How Are You Dealing With The Fuel Price's!
Im 18 and I live with my parents. So all I gotta pay for is boat/car gas, and the monthly bait monkey bill.

Spinnerbait
I like the SK KVD spinnerbaits the most. I've also got 7 of doctor spinnerbait's lures on the way too cant wait to try those out! As for using them, erratic action is always necessary. Around shallow cover, I like to wake it.

Steez Rod Warranty - Excellent
When I played lacrosse, there was a factory near me and a few of my friends got to the dumpster and found all sorts of goodies, sticks, pads, gloves. All that was wrong was they had dings in the stick or small rips in the pads.

How Much Do You Bring?
2 rods, one baitcaster for pretty much everything except plastics, and a spinning rod for plastics. A back pack with 2 360 boxes (one with terminal tackle, and another with a few cranks, jigs, topwaters), my spinnerbait wallet, and several bags of plastics. My pliers, camera, scale, tape measure, all fit in my backpack as well. I used to take 3 rods, but, its just too much of a hassle.

Need Somthing For My Td Advantage
So I got it in the mail today but it is lacking a rod. I Was thinking about the St. Croix Mojo, but that Veritas looks NOICE! Plus, having the rod all white is pretty cool. Also, Im oing to be using this mainly for spinnerbaits, should I go with 7'M, or 6'6M, or perhaps 6'6MH? Daiwa reel on a Abu rod? Whattya think fellas?

Coffee Scented Lures?
I dont think it is a better fish attractor, perhaps, makes them hold longer and masks scent like another poster said. The only attractant I KNOW to work is megastrike.

Colors Bleeding?
Yep, happens some times. Be VERY CAREFUL if you use a dye. If you dye a bait and then put it back with the other non-dyed plastics, you will get massive bleeding. Did this with chartrues dye and a bunch of white flukes

Jumping
Had the same problem today. Bass are actually pretty skiddish in my experience. I would see some swirling going on and would walk right to the edge and the bass would zoom off (I could see with m polarized glasses on). So instead of that I stood back a casted to where I saw the swirling and boom, fish on. Also, get yourself some polarized sunglasses if you don't already, might help IDing the swirling fish.
