Like 1/4oz, 1/8oz? Is that possible? What kind of setup would I need?

The only places i actually drive to go fishing are only 30-40 minutes away so not too bad but yeah, for a 18 year old still going to school(I drive 30 minutes to school and 30 min back(bout 1/4 tank for me) )...It hampers a bit. I got a kayak but didn't use it much last year, will see more use this year!

Ya, my canal (it has a current) has unthawed but the rest of the lakes are frozen around me. I just made an order from BPS that should come next week, so i will have lots of new goodies ;D! Should keep me on a tackle high till everything thaws out.

KVD is a cool guy, but i wouldn't say he pushes me to be a better fisherman. More like what is pushing me. I would like to get into some tournaments. I like competition and hey, winning some money, would be nice.

Not talking abrasion resistance or line diameter. Talking about the way it acts, limpness, stiffness, memory. Never used any thing that was pure fluorocarbon, just the Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Wondering if they act the same? P.S. I love the Yo-Zuri!

I used only one for about a year an a half and did pretty good. A 6'6 MH fast action spinning. Then again all i did was shore fishing then. I've added 2 BCs, and will be adding a few more this year and maybe another spinning combo.

The new BPS Bionic blades have split grips and are 80 i think. I owned a spinning rod and t'is very nice. Also, bps graphite series ain't so bad either.

I guess if you wanted to, you could put a trailer on your trailer hook? I always use a trailer hook. I always use a one because when i started using them, i noticed some fish i caught were hooked on the trailer hook and not the main hook.

Im on lake st Claire, and right now, it is 50 degrees. I'm wearing shorts! The middle of my canal is un frozen and all along the sides are little holes in the ice. I was practicing my pithing lol. Sooooo close!

Yeah, TW is where i will be buying all my gear now. They seem to have a lot of the newer tackle and the shipping is NOICE. Only problem is that i have a $25 giftcard for BPS...
