  1. Never. Only thing is, I have 3 rod tubes in the shed and I'm not really sure about what to do with them. I'll figure something out though!
  2. Ya, I think I will be making one lol. I got some wood in my shed I think would work.
  3. I saw something like this in a book but it didn't really tell how to make it. Wondering how I would attach it and what would I make the pole out of?
  4. I have a 100 pack of the berkley power worms 7" in motor oil. I loooooove motor oil! And so do the fish!
  5. I also have the inability to catch anything on a tube bait.
  6. I only have 4 rod/reels and never worried about pairing up the comobs to make it so they balance correctly. Since I order my stuff online, I never get to feel it before I buy it. On BPS.com, they have a rod balancing system for 10 bucks a piece. Usually, I don't buy from BPS due to their shipping but, if it makes a huge difference in feel and sensitivity, perhaps I will. Any input fellas?
  7. Lol, ya, thats what I am gonna go with. but I'm sure I'm gonna get some looks when I'm buying several things of nail polish haha

  15. I would start out with a spinnerbait either in white or chartreuse and start casting everywhere. If it was you describe, I would think pressure would be pretty low, and that almost anything would work. If white or chartreuse don't work, try a natural blue gill kind of color. And jigs, always good.
  16. It all started when some relatives and my family would rent a cabin in the upper part of Michigan, me and cuz tony would go out on a paddle boat and just cast lures, not having any idea what we were doing. Then one year, I bought a good rod and reel and caught my first bass on a zoom trick worm with a 1/2oz bullet weight in about a foot of water. Ya i know, 1/2oz, overkill but I was still a newb. YouTube, books, mags, And the biggest impact, Bass Resource. I guess i didn't learn on my own, I had everybody at Bass Resource too teach me
  17. I've got some decon 2-ton epoxy, could I use that to seal them as well? Also, there are 5 that i need to do but i think painting them will be fine
  18. I got a couple of spinnerbaits that have just silver lead head and was wondering what I would use to color them. Also, should I just make all of em white or should i color them based on the skirt?
  19. X2, I throw 3/4oz spinnerbaits on a Medium rod, and I seem to do just fine.
  20. Yesterday I was shore fishing in an area only about 1ft deep, I could see about 10-15 LM and they wouldn't hit a thing, even though I was taking as light of steps as possible, they would scatter when i got close enough to see them. I would stand back from the shore about 3-4ft and make your casts if possible. It helped me a few weeds ago. As for lures, try something slow, like a jig or a big worm.
  21. Just looking for some tips, I got a 7' M and MH baitcasters. There is this overhanging tree and only about 6 inches of space between the water and branches and I'm sure that if I can just get something under there I will catch a fish! Every time that I try to skip something it will skip once and then I backlash, any help fellas?
  22. Been looking for at your site for a while now and i think i do need some more spinnerbaits!
  23. Ive caught maybe 2 fish on stick baits, and that was just from flopping them on mats. Never had much luck on them. I keep a bag though just in case.
