  1. i took the boat out to flints pond in hollis for about an hour today. the water temps were 47-49. the bait fish were jumping in the 49 degree areas. i had two pickeral come off at the boat. i was slow rolling spinnerbaits and tried a senko for the last 1/4 of the pond. i think the majority of fish are still deeper, but it was fun to just get out. windy.
  2. no, its only a 2.5 but it will wheelie down the whole st. im fixing it for a friend at work who just got into nitro. this thing is way too fast for a monster truck!!! im probably going to give it back before i break it since i cart wheeled it halfway down my st yesterday. anyway, i shore fished mill pond and flints in hollis this week from the shore without any luck. im probably going to take my boat out this weekend.
  3. ive been working on my buddies T-maxx all week. i used to have an HPI RS4 and a RC10GT. gotta love the smell of nitro!!!
  4. did you fish from the beaver dam? i ask because there isnt much shore access other than that at lovewell. i have fished that pond quite a bit over the past two years and have only caught crappie and one pickeral. one time we caught 50 crappie in two hours. we pulled a 14.5"er out of there last year. have you ever caught bass there?
  5. i have a 10' jonboat. thanks for the list!!! locust pond is open on the highway side.
  6. where do you fish? i got my mass liscence this year and was looking for some new places in westford and tyngsboro.
  7. glad to hear your back to work derek. i checked out mill pond and the nashua river today. both of the launches are still iced in. i can see from rt.3 north that the back side of flints pond in tyngboro is open. anyone here fish in westford mass?
  8. derek, i got my mass and nh fishing liscences last weekend. still nedd to register my boat. its only $40 to get your non-resident mass fishing liscence online and theres a couple ponds in westford we need to check out.
  9. i thought it was pretty lame. they were selling sham-wows and guitars. i dont know what that has to do with fishing or hunting. i did manage to pickup a couple bags of senkos for $5 each and a newer new hamphire fishing guide for $20. there was a raffle you could sign up for when you first walked in, but if you read the fineprint you agreed to be solicited for timeshare property. the show in wochester was killer last year.
  10. this saturday and sunday. http://www.rockinghamexpo.com/

  18. thanks pain. hows the fishing at cobbetts? ive been thinking about sneeking in there.
  19. i here theres great smallie fishing in those towns. what particular bodies of water are you fishing? the fishing slowed down for me too about a month back, but two weeks ago i went out twice and caught 13 fish one day and 11 the next. went out yesterday and got skunked. water was 56* two weeks ago. its now 47-49*. im hoping the fishing will pickup with this good weather. do you fish out of a boat? how far are you from greenfeild?
  20. took the new boat/w seats out today for a couple hours to flints pond in hollis with the wife. we caught 4 pickeral on spinnerbaits. didnt seem to be any pattern. fish were deep and shallow. bite was slow. water was 47*.
  21. thanks. took it out today for a couple hours to flints pond in hollis with the wife. its a little less stable than my 12 footer but i think its because the seats are a little higher and the bottom is a little narrower. anyways, we caught 4 pickeral on spinnerbaits. didnt seem to be any pattern. fish were deep and shallow. bite was slow. water was 47*.
  22. thanks derek. you up for fishing tuesday afternoon, weather permiting?
  23. got my seats mounted(quick release) and added a couple rod holders. also added a couple more handles up front as requested by the wife. im ready when the weather is.
