Do you categorize your PB’s?
Your PB is your PB. To me it really doesn't matter where you caught it. I have a couple of buddies that put condition's on what and where as metrics to counting a big fish. I never argue with them as it's a waste of time. To me it's nonsense. In the end if I catch a PB from a pond, big lake, the swamp, it just fine.

Have you thought of moving to a warmer state??
There's always been a certain pull to live in Florida. In the end though North Carolina is my home. It has and always will be home. I retire in five years and at that time we will move to the swamps of Eastern North Carolina. I fish there at least once a month and to me that region is magical. I will fish in Florida each year but live my life out in the swamp.

Favorite squarebill and why?!
I grew up fishing a Rebel wee r and still do... Because they work. Edit: I will admit, like a lot of crankbaits, some catch better than others and I have 10-12 that I always take.

Finesse jigs on baitcasters
I like this one a lot. I use a Reaction innovations Smallie beaver as a trailer. I usually remote a little of the top. I throw it on Berkeley 12 lb big game. It's from @Siebert Outdoors https://siebertoutdoors.com/products/ols/products/roundball-xl-jig-rnd-xl-jig26

Co-angler Etiquette Question
I was a coangler for exactly one season in my local club. As others have said, there were some really great guys to fish with and there were some jerks. The jerks made for a long day. It was an easy decision to get a boat. I was in that club for 10 years and always made sure the guy in the back of the boat had water to fish. It mystifies me that some people feel like treating another human being like "the help" is ok. It's not. I left that scene a few years ago and only fish two tournaments a year now. Both are for charity and the goodwill is amazing.
