  1. I try to forget the little ones but id say 4 inches
  2. Stren Ive tried different models and all but same bad results and I used triline smooth casting for a little while but it breaks off alot. I dont buy booyah spinnerbaits anymore good color options but the hooks seem to dull out fast and the frame bends sometime I just go with the terminater S.S. if I'm looking for a spinnerbait in that price range.
  3. I dont mind at all Im not cheap I know you have to spend to recieve something worth receiving I should have posted $15-$50. If I ask $30 and someone post something for $150 thats crazy but $45 or so is definetly worth considering. Does anyone have a link for the Slammer
  4. NEW Castaic Soft Bait Rock Hard Platinum Series Swimbaits Mike Long's Signature Series swimbaits combine his expertise and Castaic's experience with soft baits to create a segmented, hard-bodied lure sure to bring in the bass! Hydrodynamically engineered for the most lifelike swimming action possible. Pre-rigged with a treble hook. Any reveiws on this one? What would you say the best one for $30 is regardless of where its sold.
  5. not brand loyal at all when it comes to crankbaits probably own 20 different brands of cranks seriously. but my #1 1. Bagely 2.Lucky Craft 3.Rapala

  10. Bagaleys are half off on bass pro shops website right now. I think there like $4.88 or $4.98 which is a great deal bageleys are my favorite balsa baits.
  11. Terminater custom's are my favorites but the t-1 and super stainless are nice too. Ive fished boo yah many times but they bend pretty easy and the hooks went dull on mine quick.
  12. Someone with a different fishing style is always good to have as a fishing partner bc then you learn to be more versitle.
  13. Money Not an issue definetly have to make it a 8 month road trip I would start in south florida fish okechobee again, taho, st johns river, stick marsh then I would head for texas and fish toledo bend, lake fork and everything between. then id go down to mexico and fish there monster bass lakes. now its mid march so I would head up to cali and try to catch some monster volleyball shaped pigs. Now I would head all the way back to Alabama fish gunnersville then varner and so on. I would then head up through tenn and kentucky and make sure i hit dale hallow and then head toward new england id fish champlain on the way then id fish my tied for all time favorite lake wyman lake then since up dreaming i would put a boat out on wachusett resivour and then finish new england up with winnamasacki or however its spelt. Its june now and id head to My home state Mi and fish all my local favs then erie and st clair then i would go up into canada and fish all the amazing hidden lake for monster pike and bass then I would travel to minnasotta and fish minnatonka and then up to Alaska and fish the copper river and all the other great river i dont know the name of lol and catch huge king salmon. During this trip I would fishing out of a 55,000 ranger black and red and pull it around using my brand new dodge 2500 cummins fully loaded with huge tires. I would also be equipped with about 35,000 in fishing equipment.
  14. LMB- 9lbs very hard in mich but its been done and i know atleast two places that i can catch a bass like that. SMB-5lbs ive gotten 2 3lbers one in mich one in mass if i go back to mass for a visit ill knock that up to 6 bc wachusett resivour is amazing my ex pulled a 5.5lber out of there.
  15. My winter strategy. Cut hole in ice Take 2' uul action rod and place minnow on hook and wait. wish i was somewhere where i could conventionally catch bass this time of year.
  16. When the fishing is really good i throw spinnerbaits so i can fish faster or ill throw a really big soft plastic and go for a pig.
  17. trim the legs skirts down and bend the hooks up just a little bit with plyers and you will have much better hook up ratio with your spro frogs.
  18. I'm going to continue to improve my jig fishing and improve my suspending jerkbait fishing.
  19. After i voted I would probly change my vote and say confidence might be the best lure bc when u have confidence in a lure you are going to be more pateint and stick with the lure. But I would say out of actual lures a spinnerbait would be my favorite and that is bc i have confidence[/u] in it. I love how you can cover alot of water and really power fish with it.
  20. I remember seeing a few episodes on the site they were pretty cool. I live in metro detriot and do not get the sportsman channel what areas get it and what cable services provide it.
  21. Ya i have found a ton of spot using google earth.
  22. Do not underestimate the shopping ability of women. My ex girlfriend last christmas was absolutly amazing we set our limit at $300 I told her to just get me all fishing lures and she got me like 7 luckycrafts, a bunch of bagelys, dt's ,Tons of fat ikas ,creatures and senkos, some T-1s, hula poppers, jitterbugs, A big 4 star tube kit, gama worm hooks in 3/0 and 4/0, a bunch of terminater, stone, and strike king jigs, 1000 yard spools of yo zuri hybrid, a few diawa cranks etc. Ill admit it wasnt just luck id been training her all summer on fishing stuff but dont be scared to ask for confusing stuff some girls can come through beleive me its a risk worth taking.
  23. the dishwasher soundes like a good idea but do u think balsas and other wooden baits would be ok in there? bc some dishwashers have some high turbulence that might mess with the paint or event get the balsa waterlogged... never tried so i have no idea but that seems like it could be possiblity if u have expeirence with them please let us know.
  24. I hate how people dont take care of customer searvice i work in a deli but run the seafod department i inform people in the seafood department with facts i know my job very well I work at leominster's Marketbasket and I am able to help customers with any question they have.
  25. I disagree cephkiller and m_feilds ya a zebco or a shackspear or however its spelt may grind wobble or rub but ive delt with 4 symetre and two stradics and my brother has 2 symetres that work perfect a friend has a perfect symetre and i have a perfect semetre and a perfect stradic but i also have a very unperfect stradic that has been temp. fixed by shimano (a month later it felt horrible again) and i dnt fish spinning reels alot anymore and if shimano doesnt replace my reel or fix it properly i will never buy shimano again and never look back bc diawa makes a great product.
