  1. Have one of the older and one of the newer. No complaints with either. I personally think they are the "best bang for your buck" baitcasting reel around.
  2. I like shad colored cranks for wakebaits.
  3. If I remember correctly, Bethel University in TN offers some sort of scholarship for fishing.
  4. Zoom Finesse Worm or 7' Powerworm
  5. Big fan of the Triumphs. However, I would urge you to try and stay away from the two-piece.
  6. Give this thread a shot. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/12401-senko-faq-%C2%A0look-here-first/
  7. Zoom Trick Worm or Finesse Worm depending on whether I want to larger profile or not.
  8. The only BPS Brand bait that I really like are the XPS Jerkbaits
  9. It's been Rat-L-Traps and Red Eye Shads for me over the past couple of years, but I've picked up a few Aruku Shads recently that I want to give a try this year.
  10. Peyton and Co. won't lose to the Chargers again. Especially after having two weeks to prepare.
  11. You could easily go with the kayak and get some sort of roof rack for your car.
  12. Are there any techniques where you opt for Floro or braid instead?
  13. Thank you all for your help. I think I am always over confusing line for different applications.
  14. I use the Baby Rage Craws and Paca Craws more than others, but have used many in the past.
  15. I see guys, especially Roadwarrior, recommend Yo-Zuri Hybrid quite often on here. Yet, I always am seeing line recommendations for various techniques of either Floro or Braid. My question is: What techniques are you using Yo-Zuri Hybrid for, and why are you choosing this over floro in these situations?
  16. It might just be me, but I like to stick with the size that came on the lure. I feel like that is the way that they were designed to run, and I might mess up some of the action/dive depth by altering this. I could be wrong.
  17. In the next week or so I'll strip line off of all my reals, clean and oil. I'll also restock on lures, and probably pick up a few I've been wanting to try. I fish from a kayak, so I don't have as many "fishing things" to do since I don't have to winterize/make repairs to a boat.
  18. Unfortunately for my wallet, I've really gotten into the LC Slender Pointers the last couple of years. A more economical option that I've found are the Bass Pro XPS jerkbaits.
  19. SK's PB&J or Green pumpkin colors in all different jig styles with a Rage Craw trailer.
  20. I would also go with the Ride, it seems to have many more options when it comes to rigging.
  21. A milk crate. Seriously. Get it. Customize it. Make it your own.
  22. In my opinion, it doesn't get any better than chasing smallmouth in a creek. As mentioned above, it seems to be more about location and stealth than the lure choice. My favorite creek lures Zoom 4" Lizard Smaller (4"?) Senko Booyah Pond Magic Spinnerbaits Rooster Tails Mini Rat-L-Traps
  23. I have been looking into it recently. Would like to keep a couple with various line sizes, but I've had trouble finding extras.
  24. I own both and they both have their times, but I prefer Chrome Blue Traps
