  2. Nope, 75lb blue nose pitbull in a boat all day doesn't work all that well, LOL!!! ;D
  3. Man, sounds like there are some selfish people out there! I always do all i can to make my fishing partners feel comfortable and equal to me in the boat! I go out of my way to ensure a good trip for both of us.
  4. I would stop at a couple of tackle shops in the area and try and get some info out of them as well! ;D
  5. It always pays to think "outside the box" and show em different things! ;D
  6. Me too! Sexy shad huh!?! ;D
  7. Man, you guys are gunna make me spring for the Rag Tail stuff!
  8. I fish Lake Istokpoga mostly. The whole shore is nothing but pads , reeds, bull rush, cattails etc. I have caught hawgs there before but NOTHING lately!!!
  9. I use the same old tooth pick trick on Tungsten with no issues! The BPS bobber stops work good too. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_44440_100010004_100000000_100010000_100-10-4
  10. Not worth the hassle man, just replace it!
  11. Thinking just that, I've tried to drag a c-rig a few times, but it just 'doesn't feel right'. It's probably my lack of confidence in it. I know just what you mean bro! I always end up on or near the shore for some reason. If i can't see visible structure i just do't have confidence in it!
  12. Hey all! I have a few quick questions for everyone in FL or with knowledge of. Should i be looking for the bass really shallow right now? All of my outer weed line spots in 4-6ft of water have not been working as of late. if so how shallow should i go? Should i beat the banks a little?
  13. These rods can hardly be beat for the $ imo! They are very sensitive, light and powerful. I own two 7' MH/F rods and i love them. Any rod can last you a long time if you take care of it. I have had no problems with the bottom foam. Even after being in the rod locker. They are very durable too, i beat on them fishing plastics in heavy cover! ;D
  14. 8" Texas rigged Junebug worm. If they are a little lure shy i can pinch off 2" or so and still be good! ;D
  15. Definately the BPS JM one! Can't beat it for the $ IMO!
  16. Congrats bro!!! Beautiful color on that thing too!
  17. Quantum over Shimano but Abu Garcia over both!!! ;D
  18. Sounds like you got it pretty much covered man! Definately use the top waters in the morning though!
  19. That's a hard one man! It's almost second nature to me now so i don't even think about it.
  20. If you will be throwing Rat L Traps any than consider a 6:3:1 reel. A low geared reel is mostly for deep running cranks. Remember, it is easier to just slow down than to speed up!!!!
