  1. My bro has the 7' 10" H model and it is pretty decent for the $. It is a very stout rod that could double as a frog rod or flippin stick. Not sure how much you will be using those techniques though.
  2. The same lures that are my favorites when it hasn 't rained. X2 X3 Just add a rattle if the water is all muddy from the rain!
  3. That thing is FUGLY!!!!!!
  4. Man i am telling you what, ignore anything you have heard about it being too bulky or stiff! It is very light, as thin as some of my MH rods and has amazing backbone. I highly recommend it.
  5. AWESOME, looks like i win, LOL!!! THANKS GUYS ;D
  6. Another vote for Gamakatsu EWG Superlines!
  7. And that's always when the big ones seem to hit, when i'm off guard, LOL!
  8. I had one but sold it. They are absolute brutes man! They have no problem pulling big fish out of slop though!
  9. Since i always buy about 4 in each size and color i trim 1/2 of them and leave 1/2 for when i want a bigger profile.
  10. LUCKY YOU MAN< LUCKY YOU! Very nice fish too!
  11. MAN, a lot of tournaments in my area are being won with 12-14lbs! What the heck guys!?!
  12. Lucky you Mr. Chris! I am still waiting on my first double digit!
  13. Very nice! I was thinking of going out after getting rained out at work but the wind kept me away. CONGRATS BRO!!!
  14. WOW, wait till i show him this, LOL!!! ;D
  15. I like Senkos and tubes myself.
  16. Hey guys! Me and my bro are in the middle of an argument involving pitching a soft plastic lure. When i pitch, i leave the spool open and let the lure hit the bottom. He engages the spool immediately after the lure enters the water. I believe that causes the lure to pendulum back to you. How do you guys do it? Are either of our techniques right? NOTE: We usually pitch in about 4-6ft of water.
  17. UPDATE: I just received the rod and man do i love it! I FINALLY found a flippin rod that i am happy with. It has the weight and diameter of my MH 7ft rods but is 20 times stronger! I paired it with a Revo SX and 25lb BPS XPS fluoro and man oh man!!!!! ;D
  18. Don't get the Big Boy series man! I bought the 7' 6" flippin stick(Big Boy) and i hated it! They don't even have an exposed blank under the reel seat. Also, they have the sensitivity of a 2x4. They weigh about as much too. >
  19. I use a Revo STX and a Revo SX for all my flippin needs. IMO, they are absolutely perfect for it because of there amazing drag systems!
  20. I like the Stanley Ribbit and the Mann's frog myself.
  21. I use them all year long here in FL. Usually just to locate the fish then i will pitch a plastic where it missed the frog.
  22. I like green pumpkin and watermelon seed.
  23. I will not leave the house without junebug, black/blue and tequila sunrise!
