  1. I fished with my E7 for about an hour before i took the line off and put it on Ebay! It just didnt feel "right" to me in any way. I will just stick to my Revos!
  2. The ONLY reel i have spooled with fluorocarbon is the Revo on my 7' 6" flippin stick. Since it is a short cast technique only set-up the lines stiffness is not an issue. And i need the sensitivity and low stretch for flippin. Other than that the hassle is not worth it to me!
  3. 8" junebug worm T-rigged dragged through any and all nasty cover available!
  4. Same lures as always, BIGGER sinker, HEAVIER line, flippin stick, EXTRA SLOOOOW!
  5. #1) Berkley 4" chigger craw in black/red flake #2) Zoom 6" lizard in junebug #3) Zoom Trick Worm in junebug #4) Strike king 3/8oz double willow spinner bait in sexy shad #5) Rat-L-Trap 1/2oz in red craw I guess i don't need 8 either, LOL!
  6. Not a bad start at all man, CONGRATS!!!
  7. Goes to show an hour is all ya need sometimes! Very nice fish man!
  8. Man am i glad someone brought this up! I will not even consider a rod/reel set-up if it doesn't look pretty together! I always make sure mine are well matched up for both looks and performance.
  9. I almost always use a 4" Berkley Chigger Craw on my jigs.
  10. I have really got into fishing the Bass Pro brand squirmin' shad in 5" sexy shad color. It works great in the lakes i fish.
  11. You see, i told you to go!!!!
  12. When i bought mine, only two brakes came on from the factory. That setting worked perfect for me by just tweaking the spool tension knob.
  13. I see somebody really likes Mr. Skeet!!!!!!!!
  14. Try dragging a jig and craw trailer or a carolina rig with a floating worm up the slope. I would also try some Rat-L-Traps around cover.
  15. I enjoy both but i seldom go alone! Like dmac14 said, the competition is great!
  16. A lot, a lot man! I too discovered this while fishing in a reclaimed phosphate pit where i work. I was using a Storm 6" swim bait and hooked a 7lb female that had a 9" perch jammed half way down her throat! Greedy little critters i guess! BTW, VERY nice fish man!
  17. hehehe... Yeah, probably going to have to go get more colors, and a couple backups, in case I lose one! hah! This my friends is why the beautiful sport of fishing will NEVER die out, LOL!!!!
  18. The last time i bought new rods, it was also my justification for buying a new boat, LOL! Cant use the rods to there fullest without a boat right!?!
  19. Couldn't have said it better myself, LOL!!!!!!
  20. I love my Bass Pro Crankin Stick in 7' M/F for trebles. I have a Bass Pro Tournament(limited edition) series reel on it with 12lb mono.
  21. Man those are some sweet hawgs! I am jealous for sure! My truck has been in the shop for a few days and wont be out for another week and a half so no way to pull my boat! :'( CONGRATS BROS!!!!!!
  22. Since i usually have about ten bags or more of each i buy large zip lock bags with the clip on top. I organize them by type and color in a separate tackle box.
  23. Man i say go for sure! My PB came on a cold, dark, drizzly day! My fishing buddy bugged me to the point that i just went to shut him up! I would start out with dark colored t-rigged soft plastics worked slow. Also, try some Rat-L-Traps around cover. Best of luck!!!!
