Hearing Crickets!
I guess it would be best to go when the water is low {does it get low?}and mark as many danger zones as you can.

OVER PRICED SWIMBAITS ADVICE
You haven't even scratched the surface if you think those are overpriced. Don't expect to get a lot of bites on big baits. Just doesn't happen like that often. But when you do get one it's usually a good one. I gave up on big baits for this reason. I don't get to fish often so I don't want to waste the little time I do have. The overall best retrieve for me was always just a slow and steady with the occasional pop/directional change.

New tournament circuit announced today
I've noticed that too about him. That's all that matters to everyone now though! Glad tactical bassin is still true to the game.

Punching Questions
Lily pads don't usually require punching unless they have something else like hydrilla mixed in with them. I always use ewg super line hooks for most heavy cover applications. One thing I do when using the heavier weighs is use two bobber stops. One above the weight as usual and one below the weight. In between the weight and the soft plastic. Works great for me.

Center Console Bass Boats....
Many moons ago I had a Nitro CDC. It was definitely a stable boat but I think that's mainly due to how heavy it was. Not sure how center consoles would be safer? The contribution to balance by the centered weight of the driver/passenger would be marginal imo. I could be wrong though. Looked really cool though that's for sure.

You can be our guide Geo ? That's why I've always stayed away. Scared to lose mine there. I've been wanting to take a trip to Tenoroc in Lakeland as well. I hear it's starting to get really good.

Duckett Ghost or Dobyns Fury
I guess it just depends on your definition of sensitive. I find the fury to be plenty sensitive, above-average for the price I would say. You referenced Mikey ballz last time, well check out what he uses to throw Ned Rigs and dragging baits way out deep in 30-plus fow. Detecting bites that deep ain't easy, and he uses some furys for that.

Duckett Ghost or Dobyns Fury
I'll take that as a "no I haven't actually tried anything else. . . I'm just a Fanboy" haaaaa?

Duckett Ghost or Dobyns Fury
Have you actually used a dobyns fury to compare the two? Not even a competition imo. Dobyns Fury all the way. And yes I have used both. Duckett's track record of selling junk doesn't lie.

Battery maintenance
Your right, I've always plugged up right after and before a trip and never had issues. The only reason I was considering leaving it plugged was because everyone says they supposedly last way longer if you keep them topped off that way. Screw it I'll stick to what's been working thus far.

Hearing Crickets!
Just hit me up when you're ready. I got the boat part no prob. I've only been there a handful of times so not too familiar with it. Scared of the stumps.

Hearing Crickets!
Present! But have been staying home the past couple weeks. Fishing has just been too slow for my liking everywhere I've been. @Mike L can I come with to the stick? Plzzz?

I believe it's a group 24m with 1000 cranking amps/800 cold cranking amps and 125 min reserve capacity.

Battery maintenance
Well that sucks about the charger not being good for full time use. I'll just unplug it and plug the night before going. My batteries usually last at least 3 yesterday doing it like that anyway. I do run all accessories like power poles, Lowrance units, Jack plate etc on the cranker. I've been using this specific model battery in the last 2 boats with good results so we'll see. Minn Kota rep told me it was perfectly fine to leave this specific model of charger plugged 24/7. Also, if cranking batteries don't "like" to be drawn down then why do companies like Lowrance and power pole specifically say to hook their products up to the cranking battery? Do they just assume we all know to get a dual purpose?
-
Battery maintenance
My cranking battery only says cranking on it. Nothing about dual use deep cycle. My trolling motor batteries say deep cycle. Should it be a dual purpose? Reasons?

Line for Chatterbait fishing
Who you think showed me that one? Mr. Ballz himself. Trying to get him to show me offshore now. I fish real cover so I need the braid sometimes. Your CXX is ok for them dinks you chase though.?

Battery maintenance
I finally gave in and purchased 3 new batteries (2 deep cycle and one cranking) and a Minn Kota 330D charger. I plan to leave the charger plugged in full time when not using the boat. My question is, for regular lead acid batteries how often do you guys check/add fluid when plugged into a charger 24/7?

Sad day
Exact thing happened to me with my wallet once! I got lucky and it fell inside the bed of the truck and stayed there the whole drive home.

Is the quantum smoke a decent reel?
I owned a couple of the first ones and didn't care for them. They look really slick but that's where my likes end. Handles had a lot of play in them and the drag was blah at best.
