Weedless Wacky Rig
Have you ever looked into the Kicker Fish Bait Wackey Worm? That bait looks very goofy but its very weedless, will work with any regular worm hook and it does catch fish. I know people who think it looks dumb so they have not tried it, but for me its been a proven fish catcher. Has a slow fall and works well.

Yum F2 Baits
Anyone like them? I was throwing one of the money craws and the plastic seems kinda hard to where it slips up and down the hook alot. Did i just get a raw pack? The action isnt bad but i think i will stick with the rage craw, paca craw and zoom super speed craw. bwt i only got them because they were half off at Dicks Sporting Goods and thought i would try them

Color Coding Rods
within the past year i have gotten 4 new rods and reels, so im just getting to know these, reels. The old ones i wouldnt need to do this too. I am also going to be fishing in a tournament with my uncle and we will be keeping all of our rods in the rod box so i figure it will be easier to know which ones i want. IM just not sure though

Color Coding Rods
Does anyone use the rod wraps or vinyl tape to color code their rod buts so its easier to pick out in the rod box? Ive been wrapping Wilson Tennis racket grips around my cork instead of rod wraps cause i can get about 5 for the price of one. Was thinking about putting vinyl tape around the bottom just for labeling. Just wondering if it helps anyone else

Big Worms At Night
I was wondering what big worms yall throw at night. Ive been throwing the 10" Anaconda the past few years but was thinking of getting some of the Manns Jelly Worms. If i get the manns, should i do 8" or 12" and what color. What other worms are good at night?

Lizards Vs Brush Hogs
You know, I tend to fish brush hogs much more than lizards, but they are similar to me. If I were in the situation, I would take the brush hogs over the lizards all but during spawn when fishing beds. During spawn while fishing the beds, I would probably take just the lizards. just me though. Im interested in hearing what others think.

St. Louis Area Fishermen
Back before the Big pond was renovated at queeny, I saw quite a few 3-4 lbs and one that was nearly 6. We used a scale, so they were somewhere around that size. Last year the biggest i caught at queeny was a 3.5 lb largemouth on a Ragetail Eeliminator. At one of the back ponds theres a HUGE fish swimming around the surface. His dorsal fin is sticking out as he swims. If anyone wants to go to queeny sometime, let me know cause im always going alone.

garlic????
I was out fishing my partner using the ring frys when he was throwing something very similar just no scent. Like out fishing 5-1, until he gave up and asked for some ring frys. On another note, my friend wanted to play a prank on someone down the hall in the dorm so we got some Chompers Garlic spray and shot it into their room through the peep hole that we unscrewed. Boy did that reek. Fun time

Any College Bass guys out there?
I was at Missouri State University. We fish the FLW tournaments and I know I got emails for other tournaments as well. There are a bunch of schools here in Missouri, Missouri State, Mizzou, Truman State, Drury, College of the Ozarks. All in the FLW. I know, we (missouri state), truman state, south east Missouri State, and College of the Ozarks all made the regionals. You could look into those. Also, go on the FLW college fishing website. If your interested in engineering, I know a guy who is starting a team at Missouri S&T. If you have any questions about colleges in Missouri, let me know bud!

Hooks For BIG Worms
About 90% of the time i use the gamakatsu 5/o EWG. I have some straight shanks too. I may look into getting a pack of 6/o but it sounds like 5/o and 6/o are pretty common. Thanks friends!

night fishing
I tend to throw the same baits or bigger versions, like a 10" Anaconda instead of the 7". I also go dark, green pumpkin, black, june bug. With spinnerbaits I go black and a big colorado blade. Ive done really well with a twin tail grub for my trailer. So the biggest difference i would say is in the spinnerbait. We dont throw topwaters cause were fishing 4 out of a 17' boat. Its rough! too scared to set the hook and have one of those topwaters fly back at us

Scrounger Swim Jig

St. Louis Area Fishermen
Yeah Queeny park is not bad but you need to go to the lakes in the back of the park. They are a hike but they are not too terrible. The walk is nice too, Ive seen all kinds of interesting things. a bunch of deer, a big owl, a family of turkeys ran in front of me on day. It was like 2 adults and 3-4 babies. Really cool. Ive seen 2 coyotes this year. Anyway, yeah those are decent little ponds. You can find them on the maps of the park. Heck, if you ever wanted to go sometime we could meet up and I could show you how to get there. Tehy get all kinds of scum on the lakes in the summer so frog fishing is fun at that time. Anyway, if you want to go sometime, let me know!
