  6. @Glenn 👍 One suggestion I always make to anyone who is a first time boat operator. Take it out in weather that is less than ideal, anyone can run a boat in ideal conditions. PLEASE! do not try this without having someone on board with experience.
  7. I've mentioned this before, when searching this site I use Google. Type in safe boating followed by bassresource.com. it will pull up far more information than the sites search engine. US Coast Guard & many states offer boating safety courses, some states it's a requirement
  8. You guys are awesome! I wasn't aware one could become lactose intolerant, I thought you were born with it. Some lactose free foods are ok but others are down right nasty. Still got a lot to learn 😉
  9. Why 15' plus/minus 3' This depth range should put you on outside grass lines. From Converse down to the dam I highlight 13'-18' on my electronics.
  10. IDK 😉 Someone around here mentioned, 15' plus/minus 3'. Apparently it's still working
  11. The last few days I have experienced severe abdominal pains. Tuesday & Wednesday had me pretty incapacitated. My oldest granddaughter Emma was telling me it sounds to her like I'm lactose intolerant. I said nah I've never had an issue with dairy products. She says l can become lactose intolerant at any point, so I called a friend who' is a doctor. Apparently one can become lactose intolerant at any time in they're life & I did. Now comes the new tricks for this old dog, a total change in my diet. This will be interesting to say the least. Any of y'all deal with this issue?
  12. So in your opinion there isn't any new & upcoming anglers in the world? I guess Elite level anglers are cloned from KVD!
  13. Tournaments you have no choice but to go, Toledo Bend & Rayburn will beat you to death. Days I wanna go they tell me it's off limits. Got tired of that & decided to pick my days.
  14. Wasn't what I had in mind but 👌 Pros come from the amateur levels, if you can't compete on the amateur level don’t even think about Pro level. Lot of talk about sponsorships, I can tell ya this much, it doesn't matter how slick a talker you are, ya gotta be able to catch em first. Straight up talent wise, there's quite a few that can compete but simply choose not to for whatever reason. There are members here who are or have been guides, & I have friends who guide. In my personal opinion these anglers are better than Pros, they have to be on em everyday.
  15. I fish out of a Alweld 1652VJT Marsh RD Package Tunnel. 16' length 14" extended front deck 52" tunnel hull Nauticus Smart Tab SX Tohatsu 40 hp
  16. Y'all need to re-read 😉 Where y'all think Pros come from?
  17. @Lottabass Sensitivity has 4 elements: Line, rod, hands, & brain. The absolute most essential element is the brain, interpretation of what's going on with our lure
  18. Black Neon 😉 Highly over looked color in any plastic
  19. Mister Twister® Super Lizard® has been around since 1978, still throw em except its the 7" Super Lizard®.
