I use jigs with out rattles 99.5% of the time Bass don't have a problem finding my jigs even at night

I anchor mostly fishing an area thoroughly before using the trolling motor to move locations.

I guess once again the odd ball here, I flip more that I pitch, but only in extremely close conditions. By the end of this month I'll be fishing inside the buck brush; I will actually have my boat as far back in the brush as possible. Flipping is the only casting technique that will work in this situation and a 5' 6 to 6' rod is all there is room for. Any other time I cast over hand, side arm, roll cast ect; my thought is why waste time holding my bait in my hand when I can simple cast it. I have won several bait casting competitions for distance and accuracy using over hand and roll casting.

I can explain to a newbie how they should flip a jig but I also tell them don't watch how I flip because what works for me may not work for them. I've been flipping long before anyone had a name for it, it aint pretty, it aint even quite but its deadly on catching.
