FINALLY! ? Walking without crutches!!!!! Not far or fast!
  2. While I don't doubt red ewg hooks, red treble hooks, & straight shank hooks make a difference. What I do doubt is when someone tries putting a precentage on that difference.
  3. How y'all are? I be from southwest Louisiana Tommy T ?
  4. Given no choice bass will adapt. "Hard" bottom doesn't necessarily mean a concrete roadbed, it could be sandy clay.
  5. While I agree in part one must ask what structure is being fished? What cover is located on said structure? How are the fish setup on the structure & in the cover? Did the angler setup the boat properly? To many variables to say for certain why one angler out preformed the other.
  6. Line, rod, drag, & angler working in unison.
  7. You would be wrong ? Even in the extreme heat of the Gulf Coast there are far more day anglers than night anglers. Unless there's a night tournament I usually don't see another boat all night. Sorry guys night fishing ain't that popular!
  8. So do I ? My wife loves black licorice, I smile when she opens some.
  9. Most anglers only pay attention to moon phase at night or during pre-spawn/spawn. In both cases they dwell on the full moon. I don't care what phase it's in, I wanna know when it rises & when it sets...daily.
  10. Do y'all not pay attention to the moon during the day?

@A-Jay slowly but surely making progress
  12. Reminiscing about where this sport came from with the help of @whitwolf @Team9nine @WRB & others. Trying to keep up with where we're heading. Fishing Reports, not necessarily for pictures of bass but pictures of this beautiful country!

Jack @fishfordollars Yates RIP @Matt Fly great structure fisherman, like to know if he has foward facing sonar.
  14. I love the sights There's an island I frequent & when the bats are flying big momma is out. Seen a lot of space debris reenter the atmosphere. I love the sounds Frogs everywhere! A clacking buzzbait Hoot Owl in the distance
  15. Hard baits, 2 ea Jigs, 1/2 dozen at least Plastics, I will buy a hundred pack As for Y'all's black buzzbait, y'all should at least have another black skirt. I keep a pretty good supply of skirts near by.

I can now walk with one crutch & very short distances without any. What the Physical Therapist showed me I'm doing 4 times a day at home. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
  20. Lonnie made one jig that was called a casting jig because anglers back then didn't need a separate jig for flipping, pitching, casting, punching, or swimming. We fished what we had in our hands.
  21. Strange us older guys found it with out Google & y'all can't with it. Just because their eyes are adjusting doesn't mean they sit around waiting. Bass feed with their eye sight & lateral line working in unison.
  22. Clear skies & bright full moon can do the same. Shadows, depth perception, judging distances all play havoc with your senses.
