Bob always had excellent advice on specific rods and gear.  I called him to check on him awhile back and he was having some difficulties but was positive and said he was doing well.  

 

It is normal for people to stop posting on forums, especially when they are busy. No amount of time you invest on a fishing forum will compare to the knowledge you gain while on the water.

It looks like @everythingthatswims is the highest rated (by reputation) user on this site that has not visited the site in the last year.  He was less than a pound from making it to the Bassmaster Classic.

5/5/21 was the last time he was on line.

I used to chat with chris shortly after he left br. He got heavily into photography and basically gave up fishing. He was also into car audio in a big way. Nice guy.

I miss @Paul Roberts input on topics. He was always very in depth and instructional...also just seems like a good dude.

Dude was a GREAT member of our forum. I still miss him a bunch.

 

 

Every forum I've been apart of from hunting, fishing, Ford trucks etc....... people come and go.

Been an avid member of a gun forum since 2004 and logged in a couple days ago, didn't recognize a single member.

Several factors, interests change, health, diseased, life in general.

There was a guy named Wayne something who was extremely knowledgeable on electronics. Haven’t seen him post in years now.

A couple years ago I received a box of jigs from @deaknh03, that’s when I learned the old saying is true…..nothing in life is free. 
 

The worst part, I haven’t caught a single fish on those jigs. Deak won that deal!
