I’m Jeremy. I’ve been bass fishing my whole life. Was fortunate to live close to Toledo bend for 8 years. Now I live in Southwest Louisiana. Do more feed fishing and flounder fishing now, but still get up to the Bend when I get a chance.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Welcome. Great having you with us.

Don't forget these rules when bass fishign in Louisiana:

1.  Always wear purple and gold.

2.  Always yell "Geaux Tigers" when you set the hook.

3.  Always bring two poboys with you, and one has to be a loaded roast beef with the debris.

4.  Barq's (Its good!) must be on the boat. The more the better.

5.  Mardi Gras beads bring you good luck.

6.  If you see those big, beautiful Louisiana blue crabs in the water while bass fishing, it is OK to drop your crab nets off the side of the boat and do some crabing.

7.  Be careful of the Rougrau if you go into the swamp.

8.  Do not feed the alligators. If you do, they will follow you around the rest of the day.

9.  Do not mess with any snake, friendly or poisioness.

10. If you go frog gigging while resting from fishing, or at the end of the day, be sure to have your S&W Governor or a Taurus Judge with shot gun shells just in case a moccasin wants to join you in the boat.

Now go out there and have some fun and send us pictures of both your fresh and saltwater catches.

Geaux Tigers!!!!!

Swla fisherman here. No need to drive to the bend. Plenty of places closer that have bass
