They respool the reels used that day. Personally I don't care for Fluorocarbon, I have found nothing it does better than monofilament except cost more. Ain't using no 6 yr old line...period!

@07Rapala ya using the "stakeout" pole all wrong! We call em throw down poles or marsh anchors. Mine is 4' long made of 3/4" stainless steel. Instead of trying to push it down I simply throw it down. I anchor a 16' Alweld in 10-15 mph winds with zero issues. The one below is made from a grounding rod.

Those Pros don't pay for their line or they wouldn't be respooling every night. Watched a recent video of KVD respooling 12 reels while the interview was going on. Watched G-man doing 4 reel at once. That applies to every type of line.

Not even close ? Tatula is twice the rod of any mentioned above. Better sensitivity, moves big bass out of cover better, the reel seat is extremely solid. Medium Heavy is supposed to be somewhere between a medium & a heavy. The Tatula leans towards the heavy side making it ideal for jigs.

I work as a deck hand & then first mate on my uncle's charter fishing boat. One of my jobs was to remove all lines onto a drying racks & then respool em. We talking a dozen Penn International reels!

Or maybe we do recognize progress or the differences & still ain't impressed. I said it before & will continue saying braid has been around longer than monofilament or Fluorocarbon. I've fished braided Cotton, Dacron, Micron, Suture Material (Silk), Micro Dyneema®, Kevlar, & Spectra. For frogging-n-punching braid, everything else Big Game. I throw Horny Toads & Ribbits on 20-25# Big Game.

Go fishing more often The longer Monofilament, Fluorocarbon, or Copolymore sits on a reel unused the worst "coiling" gets. Ain't been fishing in 3 weeks due to a pulled hamstring. Next time I head out I will respool all reels. Another huge advantage of Big Game is I can respool often & not break the bank!

My #1 most productive worm ever was Gene Larew's 7 1/2" Salty Ringworm in Cinnamon Pepper Neon Junebug Laminate...Camouflage. I've caught double digits from Brownsville TX to Inverness FL on that worm. Was it the color or the fact that I threw it 90% of the time?

Everyone has their own personal repertoire of confusion. Someone asked Tom Mann why he made worms in so many different colors. He replied to catch the fisherman, a bass has never put a penny in my pocket! Sometimes color makes a difference. Sometimes color makes no difference at all. Sometimes I have to constantly change colors to get bit.

I avoid shopping online at all cost! We have 2 local tackle shops, a country store with more tackle Academy or Dick's. If it's rod-n-reels I'll drive 2.5 hours to Baton Rouge BPS or Cabelas. When I decide to pull the trigger I want it NOW!
