  1. How y'all are? I got slightly more experience, they do still work. Raccoons, could be a decrease in Coons. Crawfish like any creature has ups & downs in population. While ya ain't getting bit where you're at they maybe the next cove over. Keep chunkin-n-reeling!
  2. March 19th, 2019 The whole episode was unreal ? My friend Mike from Oklahoma had texted me before the trip about the BassCashBash. But everyone was talking about a 10# plus winning $1,500 plus an additional $5,500 for over all big bass of the event. The rules also stated that there was 202 tagged bass that would win various cash amounts. So I was thinking do I really wanna bet I could catch a 10#+ in 3 days of fishing so I didn't register on day one. On Tuesday Mike said he would pay my entry fees, so I entered around noon. A couple hours later I caught that bass, I didn't see the tag because it was facing away from, & had full intentions of throwing it back. Mike screamed it tagged! After photos & cut the tag I never paid attention to the tag just slipped into my wallet. About 5:30 or so we headed back to Fin-n-Feather to see what I won, thinking ok it's probably a couple hundred bucks. When I told the lady at Fin-n-Feather & pulled the tag out her eyes got really big. The tags for the boat & truck are color coded & she said you won the truck. I put my eyeglasses on & it had on the tag Truck & the phone number

  9. Poor designed jig head causes this not the weed guard. Hack Attack, 6th Sense & Oldham's jigs don't do that.
  10. What are ya trying to accomplish? If you're wanting move big bass out of cover a heavy duty reel ain't necessary. The only time I would use a heavy duty reel is throwing big swimbaits. The reason being line capacity. For bass fishing 50-100 series reels are more than adequate to land any bass that swims. I don't care what Joe Pro tells you locking your drag completely down is totally unnecessary!
  11. Shimano Calcutta 100A, Max drag 9.5 lbs 35 double digit bass from heavy cover without locking the drag down.
  12. Wacky Rigging down here started with Trick Worms & yes nails. I also throw Bass Assassin's Tapout Worm. It's thicker which helps casting weightless.
  13. Holds rods together for easy transporting, add one attack bag.

  16. Just a dumb Cajun's opinion but the SLX is over rated mainly because of the name. The Lowrider is hard to beat at it's price point but Tatula does.
  17. Diawia Tatula fishes way over it's price point. I have 2 & looking at buying a third.
  18. My exact thoughts! Factory defect y'all paying, my screw up I'll pay. I have a Powell Inferno it's hands down a better rod than Dobyns.
