K.I.S.S. 😉 When you buy it order a cover for the boat & outboard. Easier to find storage outside.

Fishing Lily Pad Covered Waters?
Getting fish out of pads has it's own set of problems. Getting fish out of pads while on the bank comes with additional problems. Getting fish up & over a handrail adds even more problems. Bubba bass fishing at its finest!

That's my problem 😕 I know this Alweld can't catch that Lund!- Tips for lipless crankbaits
- Fishing pressure
Just because there's a large number of anglers on the water doesn't mean they know what they're doing. I would rather fish behind 10 weekend warriors than 1 @A-Jay!- Fishing pressure
Sam Rayburn Reservoir is maintained by Texas Parks & Wildlife as a tournament lake. It gets more tournament pressure than any lake in the nation. If one were to look at the tournament results they would find the quality & quantity are as high as ever. You can take what you from that research but the results speak for themselves.- how much did you spend this year on going after mr lmb?
What I actually spent or what my wife thinks I spent? Slow year, probably a couple grand.- Tiller Extension Help
@Way2slow I hear ya 😉 Scotty has taken over handling the boat, I still run the trolling motor. I can't fish out of a canoe or kayak, I gotta have a seat.- Tiller Extension Help
- How many jig/worm rods do you fish with?
I do not give my rods names! That way if I throw a spinnerbait on my jig rod it doesn't get confused! Texas Rig Powell Inferno 703C 7'0" Medium Heavy X-Fast Kistler Helium HE7045HMH 7'0" Medium Heavy X-Fast Jig-n-Craws Diawa Tatula TTU711MHXB 7'1" Medium Heavy X-Fast- Tiller Extension Help
This is my son Scotty & friend Jacob. Notice how Scotty is sitting on the pedestal seat & the seat it in the base. Instead of twisting to reach the tiller you simply swivel.- First-Time Bass Boat for Fun Fishing and Tournaments
Given you suggest budget, tow vehicle & wanting a boat, motor, trailer, trolling motor, & electronics you're looking at Tracker Pro 170 with a 50 hp. The Classic XL has a two piece livewell that is notorious for leaking.- 33 replies

Good luck 😉- Tiller Extension Help
All Jon Boats down are sold with 3 pedestal seat bases on the rear bench. We have done it this way so long manufacturers offer it as an option.- Tiller Extension Help
Don't do it! Those extensions do not stay tight on the handle due to the material the OEM handle is made of. A folding chair would not be a safe option either. I put a pedestal seat off to one side on the back "seat". If necessary I will straddle the back seat (sit side saddle).- Hooksets with heavy cover jigs
I don't like using a "heavy" wire hooks for punch rigs or jigs, they are over kill. A thin wire hook will penetrate faster but flexs too much. The Hack Attack Fluorocarbon Jig has the ideal diameter hook.- A little advice.
Repeat 😉- On this day...
- Is it worth paying someone to disassemble and clean your reels or is it relatively simple to learn?
I'm very capable, just prefer not to. I do routine maintenance but once a year I send them out for a deep cleaning. From the week of Thanksgiving until Christmas I don't fish alot so I send they out 2×2. - Fishing pressure
