You should hit it right, assuming TVA doesn't mess with the water like they did in April. Also, May 8 there is a big tournament out of paris landing. You might want to try a different ramp or get there at 3 am to put in.

Do you know if P-Line's products have a thicker diameter than most lines? I feel like 10 pound CX and CXX feels more like a 12. I believe CXX might be a tad bigger than other companies lines in the same diameter. I would never again use CXX for spinning, even in the 6-8 lb range because of the manageability issues. That might be burley's problem and going to the CX or to a fc line will fix most of the issues he's having. CXX is for baitcasters only IMO. I use it on just about all of my rods except spinning. Even though it might be tough to manage sometimes, it doesn't let me down. Right now I have 6lb BPS flouro and it has worked very well. Sufix siege is also a good choice for spinning, used it last year and never had a problem bass fishing with it.

It comes down to Goodell is tired of players getting in trouble and making the NFL look bad. Ben got suspended for his off the field issues, not because he was convicted of a crime. Supposedly the DA decided not to pursue the the charges as there was not enough evidence. If you go back and look at Pacman, you will see that he was eventually suspended for incidents that he was never convicted of and some that he was. It might not be on the same degree as some of the other suspensions, but bringing the attention of the law on yourself twice within a year for the same thing, even though he wasn't convicted, warrants a suspension in Goodell's eyes. NewAngler, if you look at the three that you mentioned all of them have went to prison or jail for their crimes that they were convicted of and suspended for at least a year. I agree that it has nothing to do with a white/black athlete gap on the suspensions, and I also think that this is justified in the sense that the commish is tired of this kind of crap with the players and legal troubles. He's made it clear that if you don't conduct yourself off the field in a respectable manner he will suspend you. In Big Ben's case he's losing almost 3 million bucks this year due to his suspension.

I actually had a white hen bring in a bird two years ago. He fell to the same decoy as yesterday's bird. I'm pretty sure she was either domestic or a cross between domestic/wild. I watched a Knight and Hale show the other night and they had a silver phase tom come in, looked very healthy but it was a cross. The thing I hate the most is a peacock in the flock. You can forget about ever getting a bird until you get rid of it.

Pretty much like mine except I saw the birds, if only he wouldn't have hung up behind a fallen tree for the first 20 min I'd have a pic. The good thing is he wasn't the dominate bird out there so I didn't mess that chance up. I'm probably heading out saturday morning and then do a little fishing before hunting a different piece of property on sunday.

I can't register until the 13th, but I will be taking a couple chemistry classes, math, and maybe technical writing or another chemistry.

I had two close encounters this past weekend, both birds within 40 yards but never a clear shot. The one on Sunday was hammering his head off but we could never get him to commit another 10 yards and look over the bluff. Going out right now to try and roost one for in the morning before work.

Sounds like you could almost complete the slam in one state. I've been itching for about 2 weeks waiting on tomorrow. ;D

In Mississippi it is ;D, that's a very good size crappie anywhere. You got any pics or is it already in the freezer?

It's still too early, need to wait a couple more weeks. I have two productive spots and I just got permission to turkey hunt on some other property that looks like it might have a few on it, I can't wait to fry them up.
