  1. Controllers, no. Drywall, yes. Good thing I am a carpenter, lol. I like it alright. It caters to the less skilled player. That is frustrating. PS This motherflippin Javelin glitch is getting R E A L L Y old! Had the first guy using the javelin glitch last night, he didn't do too good but got an *** chewing after the game, and about 8 complaints filed on him. The campers, it's pretty much what Bantam said, but if they get to where they can't get out of a spot and you start spawn killing them for it, they won't do it the next match.
  2. Only one time so far and it was USPS, cheap cardboard tube from BPS was bent dam near in half, but when I opened it not a scratch on the rod. Called and did a little bit***ng and was told that if I ever wanted a rod shipped through them to call and place the order and request Fed Ex. The post office has no business shipping rods, most of their delivery vehicles are not equipped to carry packages that are that long.
  3. I put poultry seasoning on every piece once it's been put in the dehydrator, also if you have a CO-OP near you see if they have any crockett farms( I think that's what it's called) marinade, did the last batch in it and it's pretty good.
  4. x2 There ain't much to do today, seeing as yesterday was thanksgiving and the majority of the public is not at work. Been watching the Cincy/Illinois game all morning.
  5. No kidding, haha. ;D
  6. Here is a pretty amazing knife throw to end a match my buddy showed me this morning. http://ctrlaltdel-online.com/
  7. That's about all you could have done since you do have sponsors on your boat. I was on Barkley earlier this year fishing about 100 yards from an FLW pro when a couple of idiots came by between me and the bank and then the pro's boat no less than 20 yards from each of us. The pro just shook his head because he knew it wouldn't be wise to say anything, they got a special treat from me.
  8. I've been a couple times and seen a small 8, a 4, a broke spike, and a rattlesnake. I'm going in the morning since we've finally got a few cooler temps.
  9. True I have two of those and they are on sale right now.
  10. The bucoo should be fine, my buddy has the 7'ft medium and it works just fine. Lamiglass excel 7'ft glass rod for $100, and spotaholic has a 6'9" kistler argon cranking rod for sale right now for $125 that probably won't last long.
  11. Good job Joe. Let me know how you do on Wednesday on the lake, the water is up quite a bit.
  12. What makes you think she has a"man."?????????? I'm pretty sure she probably wears the pants in any relationship she gets in.
  13. He was on today Today at 11:35am Last Post:Oct 14th, 2009 at 12:35pm View Re: Lure Pass #1 About to kick off! Last PM: Today at 11:32am
  14. Soon to be Elk restoratoration and probably places for people to look at birds. We don't have that much of a problem with stuff not being marked in TN. But the Corps doesn't care about fishing, and TWRA only caters to certain types of hunting(deer, elk, and turkey).
  15. Expect that ramp to be crammed for the next few weeks.
  16. I got that pic this morning in a text from a from a friend from a GW. First thought was it came from the lake Dr. Pigg is talking about in another thread. That is an unreal fish for Tennessee!
  17. It's the firing pin has either crud or oil in it. Same thing wrong with my buddies 835 last year, get a gunsmith to clean it and it should be fine. Or switch to the trusty 870.
  18. Sounds like a pretty good night. I was at a NWTF banquet one night when a guy turned down the onyx for a 1187.
  19. If you want to be able to duck hunt as well with it you need to get an aluminum. I have a 17 ft. lowe roughneck with a 50 on it and I fish tourneys out of it as well. The only bad thing is you can't run as fast or as far as a glass boat, but you can get to places those boats can't.
  20. It would be scarce, and I would have to see quite a few birds to justify buying the license. From the report the Ill. DNR released there numbers have been pretty steady there, just few and far between. The farm I'll be looking at up there is 450 acres, and it's more about geese/ducks then pheasants, but I would love to get a few.
  21. Squirrels are pretty tough to hit but it's possible, hell Tred Barta shoots at everything with his longbow. As for me deer, turkey, and ducks are most of what I do now, should be killing a few ducks in Arkansas in a few weeks, and maybe ducks, geese, or pheasants in Illinois pretty soon.
  22. Tell them it's their problem again, I don't think they have the balls to actually try to charge your card again. If they do all you would have to do is call your credit card company and have them sort out that 3 bucks. Someone has to stand up to them, if not they will do that to every customer from now on.
  23. the rods have serial numbers that let them know when they were manufactured. Buddy tried to get an extreme fixed not long ago, the girl at the service desk told him it was over three years old from the serial# That is pretty funny, maybe it's just Nashville not caring or what not, they never looked at the rod except to see the tip broke, I would say complaining would be the way to go, but I've tried that several times and it gets you know where really with BPS.
  24. What you do is go in and tell them you got it a month ago not last year and the tip just broke and you don't have a receipt. It's house and the one time I've had a problem with their rod the exchanged it no questions asked. I had a crankin stick just break at the tip for no reason, told them I didn't have a receipt and asked if I could exchange it. They said no problem and out the door I went. Go back and talk to a different employee/manager and see if he would do it, if not ask to talk to the store manager that person if talked to right will usually cut you a deal.
