Even though it is not one of the x series boats it's still a 200 on a heavy 20 foot boat. Now if you are running it with only one person, no gear, and half a tank of gas or less you might see upper 67-70 mph. But under normal fishing conditions with your gear, your partners gear, etc. It will be closer to 60-63 maybe 64.

At a certain speed tritons tend to "walk". You will need to set up the boat correctly to counter some of the walk. A TR-20 with a 200 strapped on I don't think you will have to worry about the boat chinewalking. In fact I think it could have trouble without the right prop of even getting out of the hole. The TR-20 is a pretty heavy boat. I'm thinking you might see low 60's max. As far as ride, I think it has a really good ride. My dad has a 20x2 and it handles rough stuff really well.

$200 wouldn't be a bad offer.

Just got some info on what happened from my dad who spoke to a TWRA officer. The boat hit head on with a barge. They have cameras on the front of the barges and it caught it all. Said it shows them off to the side of the barge and kind of eased over into the path of the barge. Never slowed down. Possibly watching the gps and not in front. Only reason the officer could come up with as to why the passenger didn't do anything was maybe he was wearing dark sunglasses to keep the bugs out of his eyes.

Yea it was discussed on several other websites. At least they did make him pay and do some jail time. There have been many more posts and have heard of other people recently being caught, and the tournament directors not really doing anything about it. If every time someone is caught the police/wildlife officers are called in it would help some. Whether you are fishing for $200 bucks on a Wednesday night tourney or for a $50k boat, it's still theft- you still get a ride to jail.

Yes that was from last October. Just last month two other guys were allegedly cheating in a big bass tournament in Arkansas. They failed the polygraph.

I would pick the lowrider over the bucoo, but you really need to call the BPS you are going to to make sure they even have those rods in. The Nashville store hardly has anything besides the house brand rods in stock except for the spring classic.

Haha naw, it was a trash can pit in Arkansas. The guy didn't have a bilge pump to pump the water out. It was only about 6 inches of water once we broke the ice.
