  1. IMO..... that 7'6 mojo in mh is one of the heaviest most unbalanced rods i ever held. i bought a falcon instead. but i absolutley LOVE the 7' mojo
  2. How many times does a fish get caught a year on average? How could this even possibly be proven. big lake? farm pond?river system?
  3. Goo gone, it works on all kinds of stuff. its great for removing old stickers and decals.
  4. I just wrote this, but here i go again. Is there really any reason to pay $15-$20 for a bait? I use x raps, thundersticks, and rogues. and still catch. Can LC,Megabass, and Jackall really work that much better? does a spro mcstick actually outfish an x rap? :-? Hopefully this one doesnt disappear.
  5. Love the zero. PB&J color. durable almost to the point it gets annoying. great price great product.
  6. If you were bustin up 15+ lb bass on a secret spot would you make it well known? i certainly would try to catch all of the sows i could before letting that news flood the area.
  7. I have never had a killer day on the lake with any of these types of baits. i would like to try the spro bronzeye frog though. i have tried the ribbits, horney toads, and scumfrogs. and they have produced very little. not that they dont work, they just dont work for me. i find for the ribbits they are more of a search bait. they locate fish but i get a lot of short strikes. i can go behind them with a devils horse or torpedo and catch. but in the slop? im sure they are great, just not for me.
  8. there are 4 brands of lipless cranks that i will fish. cordell is not one of them.Bagleys,SPRO(not real loud though),xcalibur, and of course good ol bill lewis rat l trap
  9. I am sorry and for all those berkley nuts out there, IMO berkley is over rated on the soft plastics. gulp , powerbait, does not produce any more for me than zoom, big bite baits, or bps baits.
  10. I have read on here that you would get bummed if you lost a discontinued lure. i thought the same thing, but if you look hard enough you can still find them. rat l trap discontinued the brown eye shad(awsome on rayburn) ;)rat l trap, but there is a tackle shop called ann's tackle shop in jasper tx that still gets that color custom made for her. apparently she used to be a pro and bill lewis lures was one of her sponsors. so if you look hard enough its possible to still get.
  11. You modified a reel for a slower gear ratio? WHY HAVENT I THOUGHT OH THAT?????????? would any expeirienced reel mechanic be able to perform this task?
  12. Whats wrong with the handles that come on the reel from the factory? i love mine!
  13. REEL MECHANIC WHERE ARE YOU?
  14. maybe you just dont know how to fish
  15. fanning the beds. or the ever so dangerous turtle attacks
  16. you cant catch whats not there!
  17. I will do 10 casts with the rigs that i think fit the situation. no, im not going to try a torpedo in 30' of water, but if i had to i would throw all 12 of my rigs to see whats there. i fish slow, i do not have a tournament mindset. i fish for fun and my personal best record. i have buddies that see dollar signs under the water im not one of them.
  18. The way i look at it is, if your worried about loosing a lure you shouldnt fish. maybe you should collect but not fish. I honestley go fishing planning on losing a lure.If i dont, great. its just a loss that i am willing to deal with.
  19. ABU GARCIA blackmax or silvermax
  20. Get a slow gear ratio reel, a longer rod and shove the rod tip down in the water all the way to the reel and crank. if your fishing from a boat. use a dd22
  21. wow that sucks, here in tx we use double rigged senkos and flukes quite a bit.
  22. American Rodsmith or Falcon
