I agree with you Roadwarrior. I remember the December post, but not much has changed. This should not be moderated by the moderators. It should be moderated by the members before they make a post. Bass brat, I did not mean to include you in the possee. I apologize for the negative connotations that I alluded too. You responded to RW post, so I responded. I apologize to everyone for causing the stir. I justed wanted the members to see the silliness that can come from brand talk. There are new members everyday asking questions about gear, and they need good sound advice, not brand wars. Many times that is exactly what happens though, a brand war. That does nothing for the original poster, but cause confusion and sometimes disgust. There are plenty of places on the net for brand supporters and devotees. You brought up some good points.

Look, Ill be the first to tell you that i pretty much flat out suck at bass fishing, but, i do try to keep good records not so much to count total numbers of fish but to see when, where, what, and how i got them to bite. Im trying to set up my own pattern in a few years. This is the point of why ppl keep records. 2007; incomplete records 2008; 1 That wasn't the question asked. I don't belong to any d--- possee ! My fishing gear consists of shimano products , quantum products , dawia products, and last but not least pflueger products. If you think I Try to ram any particular product down some ones throat , you are sadly mistaken.

I live near Chicago where its almost impossible to find 10+ pound bass because the lakes are all over fished. The bass in the pond don't bite anything but bluegill, I've tried a bluegill lipless crankbait and that didn't work That's hard to believe that they won't hit any thing else.

wrong the eggs need sunlight in order to mature so bass dont spawn deep. WRONG
